The webFB Configuration App for iOS is a companion to the Astronics webFB product. The webFB is an Aircraft Interface Device (AID) capable of gathering essential data from an aircraft’s ARINC 429 and 717 databuses and conveying it to custom software or EFB apps hosted on the internal server.
The app makes configuring the webFB for operational use much easier than the conventional tools such as SSH for running commands and SCP for copying files. The app allows graphical deployment of configurations and settings as well as real-time retrieval of status and diagnostic information about the webFB.
