Never ask again: “Are you eating at home tonight?” — WEET takes care of it for you. WEET is an app specifically designed for student houses. No more endless group chat messages, no housemates cooking separately. With WEET, everyone can see at a glance who is eating at home tonight, what time they’ll arrive, and who is helping with cooking. The app has 5 screens — here’s how it works: EATING TOGETHER? Indicate each day whether you will eat at home. Enter your arrival time and what you can help with: groceries, cooking, or washing up. Have a meal suggestion or friends joining? Add it directly — including a link to the recipe. WHO’S EATING? See in one overview who is eating at home, who is not, and who hasn’t responded yet. Check arrival times and tasks per person. Want to cook together? Create an event with a maximum number of participants and a registration deadline. Others can join with a single swipe. Not everyone responded yet? Tap “Request dinner update” to remind those still pending. Need to communicate something else? Send a message in the chat! RECIPES Save recipes for the whole house. Add ingredients with units, labels (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free), cost estimates, and preparation instructions. Adjust portions and the app automatically recalculates all quantities. SCOREBOARD Fair contribution, fair reward. The scoreboard tracks who helps the most in the kitchen. Each house sets its own point system: points for groceries, cooking, and washing up — and penalties if housemates don’t report their plans in WEET. Those at the bottom at the end of the week might receive a small “punishment” — but that’s up to your house to decide! PROFILE & SETTINGS Set your dietary preference (vegan, vegetarian, or meat) so housemates can always take it into account. Manage your house, adjust notifications, and choose between light and dark mode. Available in Dutch and English. SMART NOTIFICATIONS A daily reminder is sent at 16:30 to fill in your dinner plans. Once a housemate updates their plans, you get a notification — but only if you haven’t responded yet. WEET is completely free. Start a digital house and invite your housemates!
