This app is useful for repeatedly practicing specific sections when practicing an instrument or singing, or when learning music by ear.
You can record and layer your own performance while playing back a track, change the playback speed, place markers so playback starts from specific points, and set loop playback for selected sections.
It can also integrate with your Apple Music, allowing you to use songs from Apple Music as practice tracks.
For music files imported from Files, it also supports a 10-band EQ, so you can adjust the bass and treble or focus on listening to only a specific frequency range.
To make practice even more productive, the app includes a variety of helpful features:
* A setlist feature that lets you create practice lists for upcoming performances
* A calendar feature that shows your practice history
* The ability to add events to the calendar and keep notes for the day of a performance
* A countdown feature for upcoming events to help boost motivation
* Reminder functionality to help you stay consistent with daily practice
* A high-performance metronome that supports multiple measures with mixed time signatures and note values
* A tuner and tuning fork feature that supports 440Hz, 442Hz, and other pitches
* The ability to attach PDFs and photos, with trapezoid correction for photos so they can be neatly stretched and saved as rectangles
* The ability to annotate PDFs by hand or with Apple Pencil
* The ability to leave notes for each song
* iCloud sync, so you can save settings and sync them across multiple devices
