Fixes GitHub sign-in presentation and retry handling, with improved repository connection diagnostics.

A native iOS experience with clearer GitHub setup, better repository connection recovery, and keyboard controls for notes and tasks.

Start with your tasks, add them quickly, and filter by note. Reorder, edit, and move tasks while keeping everything in Markdown. Sharing text and links to Klad now keeps drafts and opens the saved task or daily note.

A cleaner look across Notes, Tasks, and Daily. Add tasks straight to your daily note, and share text into Klad as a task or daily log.

Create a private GitHub repository during setup and connect it to your notes. We also made GitHub permission steps clearer and improved the sync status for your first note.

Connecting GitHub is now easier, with clearer repository permissions, account switching, and better recovery if setup is interrupted. This update also improves connection reliability and protects existing local notes when changing repositories.

Fix git repository connection reliability, improve connection diagnostics, and resolve vault overwrite collisions.

Performance improvements and paywall experience updates.

Fixes a problem where signing in with GitHub could fail silently instead of telling you what went wrong.

Klad now understands which parts of the app you actually use, so the ones that matter get the attention. Your notes stay yours: no note content, file names, folder names or search terms ever leave your device.

Links in your notes now read as text instead of raw markdown. The full URL appears when you put the cursor on the line, so it stays editable, and hides again when you move away. The Tasks tab renders links, tags and formatting the same way. You can also switch from a trial to Lifetime from Settings, without waiting for the trial to end.

• Tick tasks straight from the Tasks tab — tap the box to check one off, with an Undo if you tap the wrong line. Tap the rest of the row to jump to it in the note, as before. • Tasks tab tidied: tighter rows, and no count badge on the tab. • Fixes to the daily reminder and the carry-over.

• Carry over yesterday's unfinished tasks: when yesterday's note has open tasks, the Daily tab offers to migrate them into today with one tap — or skip them. Same format Octarine uses, so the two apps agree. • Choose the folder for daily notes in Settings — for anyone who keeps them somewhere other than "daily". • Tables line up: a markdown table uses a fixed-width face with dimmed separators. • Backslash escapes are honoured, so \*not bold\* stays literal and file_names with underscores are no longer italicised. • Note properties (frontmatter) show as a quiet dimmed block instead of raw text. • Task checkboxes you can tap, styled links and web addresses with an Open action, searchable #tags, --- dividers, and long links that fill the line. • Indent and outdent buttons, so nested lists are reachable on a phone.

Checkbox support

Fixes a bug that prevented Klad from starting after the last update.

A maintenance update with internal fixes. Nothing has changed in how Klad works day to day — your notes are still plain Markdown files in your own Git repository.

Klad has been rebuilt from the ground up. Same notes, same plain Markdown files in your own Git repository — a new foundation underneath. One thing to know: after updating you'll be asked to connect your GitHub repository again. Your notes are safe — they live in your repo and on your device — and reconnecting only takes a moment. Also in this release: • Task lists — add one from the formatting bar, then tap the same button to tick it off • Completed tasks are dimmed and struck through

Smarter, safer sync. • Edits made on two devices now merge automatically, your notes will never again be cluttered with strange conflict text. • Nothing is ever lost: when edits overlap, the most recent change wins and every version stays safely in your history. • Sync is more resilient: failed syncs retry automatically, and your changes are synced when you leave the app. • Clearer sync status, see at a glance when changes are still waiting to sync.

• Dark mode: follows your system, with a manual Light/Dark override in Settings. • The editor no longer shifts when the sync status appears.

New: Klad Pro now has a monthly plan with a 7-day free trial, alongside the one-time lifetime purchase. Plus reliability improvements.

Fixes a stuck GitHub connection that could leave syncing broken with no way to recover.

Connecting a GitHub repository now finishes on its own

Find in note, search inside the note you're reading. Open a search result and the match stays highlighted, so you can see where it is. Fixes an editor that sometimes opened blank.

• Search your whole vault, by title or by text inside your notes. • One-tap GitHub sign-in • Move and rename notes. • Fixed the editor sometimes opening blank.

Sign in with GitHub — no more access tokens Connecting your notes repository is now a single tap. Sign in with GitHub, pick one repository, and Klad syncs. No copying tokens, no hunting for a clone URL. • Klad only ever sees the one repository you choose • Browse and pick from your repositories right in the app • Prefer a token? That option is still there for GitLab and self-hosted Also in this update: a clearer sync status bar, and disconnecting now properly frees things up so you can switch to a different repository.
