This update brings AI-powered prompting with contextual note integration, enhanced transcription UI, and powerful search improvements including exact match and exclusion options.

(Note: We have added few additional fixes since the last release)

NEW FEATURES:
1. AI Prompting with Context (⌘O)
- View AI responses in a preview window before inserting or replacing text
- Add notes (daily and regular) and folders as context to your prompts
- Generate summaries, create tables, and ask questions about your notes with contextual awareness

2. Redesigned AI Transcription
- Updated user interface for the transcription workflow
- Fallback to record-first-then-transcribe approach for improved reliability

3. Advanced Search Capabilities
- Exact match searches using quotes (e.g., "sun" finds only standalone words)
- Exclusion filters with hyphen prefix (e.g., #pending -#waiting)
- Combine keywords with exclusions for precise filtering

IMPROVEMENTS & FIXES:
- Resolved table positioning issues
- Fixed CMD/OPT+Click functionality for internal links in tables
- Corrected event editor display when clicking days in the sidebar (Mac)
- Fixed reference updates when note titles change
- Fixed task loading in sidebar "Notes" heading
- Addressed teamspace sync deadlocks during extended sessions

Additional fixes:
- Fixed Tables lost focus after making a change
- Fixed AI properties generation
- Fixed curly quotes breaking templates (thanks to @dwertheimer for the quick fix)
- Fixed command bar search keyword "y" always returning yearly notes
- Fixed 7-day view stopped updating note content
- Added RTL setting to the Editor settings forcing the full UI to switch to RTL after a restart (RTL language needs to be set for the system on Mac, in addition)
- Attempt to fix a crash occurring with iCloud Drive syncing

The most underrated productivity app. A TRUE all-in-one.

NotePlan flies under the radar compared to giants like Notion, Craft, Amplenote, etc.. buts it really hits the sweet spot for people who want a TRUE all-in-one Calendar + Notes + Task Manager + Reminders with a PARA-friendly structure.

This underdog fits perfectly where the giants feel too bloated or generic.

Absurd pricing

Great concept for an app, just what I’ve been looking for
However, having to pay 100€ every single year is just crazy for me.
There should be a lifetime option

Sorry that we can't offer a lifetime options at this moment. Most similar apps are subscription based. It depends on your individual use case with NotePlan if it's for you worth an investment into your productivity or not.
