SideOut is the tournament companion for competitive volleyball. Stay on top of every match, schedule, and standing across tournaments hosted on Advanced Event Systems (AES). BUILT FOR TOURNAMENT DAY SideOut is designed for the fast pace of tournament weekends. Pull to refresh for the latest data, search and filter across every screen, and navigate from a notification tap straight to the match that matters. FIND TOURNAMENTS Browse upcoming and past AES tournaments and leagues. Filter by affiliation, event type, region, or state to find exactly what you're looking for. View event details including dates, venue, host, and contact information. LIVE SCORES & STANDINGS Follow matches as they happen with set-by-set scores. View pool standings with win-loss records, set records, and point ratios. Check bracket results and final division standings, all updating in real time. TEAM PROFILES Look up any team through the club directory. See national and regional rankings, win-loss records, full event history with tournament finishes, and complete rosters with players and coaching staff. COURT SCHEDULES See what's happening on every court at a glance. Color-coded by division, the court schedule shows match times, teams, and officiating assignments so you always know where to be. FAVORITES Star the teams, events, divisions, and pools you care about. Your favorites screen gives you instant access with an at-a-glance view showing each team's next match opponent, time, court, and work assignment. PUSH NOTIFICATIONS Get notified when it matters. Enable notifications per favorite to receive alerts for: • Match results and set scores • Schedule changes and court reassignments • New schedules posted for your teams • Pool completions Mute or enable notifications individually with a simple swipe. POOL SHEETS & BRACKETS Dive into any pool to see every match, standing, and projected bracket placement. View completed scores, upcoming matchups, and officiating assignments all in one view. New Features Help & Support — Searchable, collapsible FAQ system covering all major app features: Getting Started, Events, Clubs & Teams, Live Scores, Favorites, Push Notifications, and Troubleshooting. Test Push Notifications — Verify push delivery is working on your device directly from the Help & Support screen. Browse Past Events — Toggle between upcoming and past events via the toolbar menu with smart date-based filtering. Favorite Events from Team Detail — Star button added to event rows in the Clubs → Team → Events tab so you can favorite events without leaving the team view. Reorder Favorites — Drag and drop to arrange your favorites in any order you like. Tap Edit, then drag items to reorder. Each tab (Teams, Events, Divisions, Pools) has its own independent order. Bug Fixes & Improvements Team push notifications now work for Clubs-tab favorites — Teams favorited from the Clubs tab now automatically resolve their current event and sync to the server, enabling push notifications. Faster club search — Replaced client-side bulk download with server-side OData filtering, significantly improving search speed and reducing data usage. All events now visible — Fixed an issue where events beyond the first 500 results were not displayed. The app now automatically loads all pages of events.
