Backgammon — the timeless board game of dice, strategy, and nerve — rebuilt as a fast, beautiful game for iPhone and iPad. Roll the dice, race your checkers home, and outsmart a clever computer opponent that plays by the real rules. No account, no sign-up: download and play. REAL BACKGAMMON, REAL RULES This is authentic backgammon, exactly as it is played on a real board: • Opening roll decides who starts — each side rolls one die • Hit your opponent's blots and send them to the bar • Checkers on the bar must re-enter before anything else moves • Bear off once all your checkers reach your home board • Doubles let you play the roll four times • Forced-move rules enforced: if both dice can be played, they must be; if only one can, the higher one is played Every legal move is highlighted on the board, so you always know exactly what you can play — perfect for sharpening your game or learning the rules properly. A SMART OPPONENT WITH 3 DIFFICULTY LEVELS The computer opponent evaluates every possible move sequence and plays a genuinely thoughtful game. Choose Easy to relax, Medium for a fair fight, or Hard when you want a real challenge that punishes careless blots. MATCH PLAY & THE DOUBLING CUBE Play a single game or a full match to 3, 5, 11, or 15 points — just like tournament backgammon. Turn on the doubling cube to raise the stakes mid-game: double when you're ahead, and decide whether to take or drop when the pressure comes back at you. Gammon wins count double, so every race to the finish matters. TRACK YOUR PROGRESS • Detailed statistics: games and matches won, gammons, best win streaks, and dice-roll counts • Daily bonuses reward you for coming back every day • Unlock achievements as your skills grow • An unfinished match is saved automatically — close the game and pick up exactly where you left off PLAY ANYWHERE, COMPLETELY OFFLINE No internet? No problem. The game itself works fully offline — on a plane, on the subway, or anywhere else. It's free to download and free to play. MAKE IT YOURS • Choose your checker color • Set the match length and toggle the doubling cube • Sound effects and haptic feedback you can switch on or off • Clean, readable top-down board designed for touch — tap a checker, tap a point, done • Optional reminders so you never leave a match unfinished SPEAKS YOUR LANGUAGE Fully translated into 13 languages, including English, Türkçe, Deutsch, Español, Français, Italiano, Português, Русский, Ελληνικά, العربية, فارسی, עברית, and Azərbaycanca. Known around the world as tavla, narde, tawula, or tables — it's the same great game everywhere. WHY PLAYERS LOVE IT • Authentic rules with no shortcuts — the way backgammon should be • A computer opponent that actually makes you think • Quick single games or long tournament-style matches • Small download, smooth performance, instant start • Private by design: your stats stay on your device Backgammon is one of the oldest board games in the world — a perfect blend of luck and skill where a single bold double or a well-timed hit can turn the whole game around. Whether you're a lifelong player or rolling your first dice, this is the classic experience, done right. Download now, roll the opening dice, and see if you can beat the board.
