Updates for FE-C control and spin down operation CABLE Firmware Update To v2.2.5

CABLE FW v2.2.4 included!!! We have heard from some of you that your control of your trainers has gone away. It seems the CABLE took the summer off from the indoor trainer just like you did. Well, the FW update for CABLE included in this release will bring that life back into your device. We have also heard from some of you that your trainer has the app continually interested in performing a spin-down. We have grown tired of that as well so we have convinced the app to only let you know once. Some users have told us that their Schwinn bikes indicate they are still pedaling when they are coasting. This update to CABLE will help to get your avatar in Zwift to match what you are actually doing in your basement. If you have not heard, XERT has recently announced full integration with the CABLE for sensor management to include the Garmin Bike Radar. This is the first bike console app to fully integrate the CABLE for bringing ANT+ sensors into the smart phone platforms. This FW update will allow full support for the XERT implementation.

Expanded features to support Xert Users that include bike radar support and simplified sensor connections. Stability enhancements to Bike Power, Bike Speed, Cadence, and Spindown for cycling trainer users. New menu option to support Advanced feature to support routing of similar BLE services, and a new ANT+ data passthrough mode to support custom ANT+ / BLE applications.

Fixed display unit conversion issue related to ANT+ Fitness Equipment. Minor updates to Firmware update flow.

FW Version 2.0.2 for CABLE Fix power/cadence stability issue with Garmin Vector pedals. Fix speed dropouts for Garmin Speed sensor. Fixed issue with some Wheel Torque Power meters zeroing out Power when no cadence is present.

Firmware hot fix for an issue that was created for Saris power meters when Schwinn Echelon support was added to CABLE. The fix is implemented in CABLE firmware v2.0.0. This is not a required update for other customers.

CABLE FW Version 1.9.9 Fixes issue with some types of Speed sensors and Power Meters for properly using the wheel circumference to translate wheel rotations to speed and distance values. Fixes issues some users were experiencing when restoring previous CABLE settings after a FW update.

CABLE Firmware update v1.9.8 • Fix for ANT+ Wheel Torque decode to address speed reporting issue on some devices • Fix for delay in FTMS/FE-C communications when using CABLE with a controllable trainer • Fix for occasional data dropouts. Users should monitor the status of the LED on the CABLE to see if it changes from green to red when their data seems to get stuck or drops out. If the CABLE is flashing red, it means the ANT device has lost tracking and is scanning for the sensor.

Fix for iPad version: App would crash when trying to perform BLE operations from BLE Output screen. Contains CABLE FW v1.9.4

CABLE Firmware Update v1.9.4. Fix for Crank Torque Frequency type power meters. The previous versions had an intermittent false path for the ANT+ page 20 decode. Thanks to the users who helped support the diagnosis of this intermittent issue. It always helps when we can get real data to help find the issues.

CABLE Config Application Application will now restore the saved configuration values when the firmware is updated. CABLE Firmware Update 1.8.3 •FTMS (Bluetooth Fitness Machine Service). i.e. It works with Zwift -Treadmill correction to work properly with Zwift -Corrected Treadmill Instantaneous Speed Conversion -Corrected Indoor Bike Instantaneous Speed Conversion -Implemented Rower ANT+ Fitness Equipment Profile to Rower Bluetooth Fitness Machine support (Kinomap is supporting this Bluetooth Service now!!!) •FE Rower Support -Some customers requested a special consideration for converting Rower FE stroke rate data to bike cadence. They pointed out they use Zwift with their rower. The challenge is the stroke rate needs to be multiplied by 3.3 to get an equivalent bike cadence to work properly with Zwift. As a result we perform a special conversion when translating Rower specific stroke rate to cadence in CPS and CSCS so you can row at a similar rate as the bikes. We did not touch power so you cannot get a higher power number than your console is showing you. There was no change made for the FE -> FTMS rower support, so once apps start to use the FTMS Rower there should be no issue with conversion. •Motion Detection - Improved motion sensitivity
