New Features • Over-the-Air Updates You can now update your XTR2 hardware firmware directly through the DT Connect mobile app — no cables, no downtime. Stay up to date with the latest performance enhancements and features from anywhere. • Visual Check Mode Available in the Alarm Detection menu on both the XTR2 hardware and DT Connect app, Visual Check Mode helps you test tricky detectors with irregular LED patterns. Engineers can briefly lower the tester for a 3-second ‘peak’ to visually confirm LED activation, then continue or record the result manually. Ideal for detectors that don’t respond to standard LED detection modes. Optimised Testing Workflow: Select an existing asset, and with one tap, the XTR2 programs the test type and captures results automatically – reducing errors and saving time. Asset Management: Document more of the fire system with new asset types such as Call Points, Sounders, and Beacons – enabling complete and compliant reporting. Improved Job Summary: Get a clear overview of site assets and tests captured during testing. Asset Details: Integrate the site asset list directly into your digital report. Identify assets during testing or from the panel by entering the location, zone, loop, and address, where applicable. Panel Reconciliation: After completing your tests, return to the panel to reconcile your test results with the fire panel event log. Select either “Alarm” or “No Alarm” to confirm that your test results have been acknowledged by the panel. Enhanced Job Report PDF: Experience a more detailed breakdown of completed tests, including all new features introduced in this release. Provide your clients with greater clarity regarding the assets tested on-site and proof of reconciled tests for compliant records.
