• Resize a picture. Click or tap a picture in a note, then drag a corner to make it bigger or smaller. It keeps its shape. • Original size. Pick it from the picture's ⋯ menu to put a resized picture back to full size. • A picture resized on another device now shows at that size. Before, it showed at full size. • Hide checked items. Turn it on from a note's ⋯ menu, or in Settings › Editor. Each list shows how many items are hidden. • Delete checked items. Remove every ticked item in a note at once. Undo puts them back. • iPhone and iPad: drag a checklist item into another checklist, or a bullet into another bulleted list. • iPhone and iPad: tap a picture to select it. Open and Share are now in its ⋯ menu.

• Search finds attached files by name. Search for "xlsx" to find an Excel file and the note it is in. • Search marks a match inside a file "In file", not "OCR". • Mac: in the ⌘K palette, a file shows its note's title, then the file name. • The note list shows a picture for more notes. Before, some notes showed a grey icon.

• Save all attachments. Pick it in the note menu to save every file in a note at once. It works on encrypted notes too. • Watched folders: Harbor can guess the notebook from each file's contents. Turn it on for a Google Drive or Dropbox folder. • Mac: folders on your Mac can guess the notebook too. • iPhone and iPad: a watched folder keeps your changes when you turn Watching on in the same edit. Before, the changes were lost.

• iPhone Duo: Harbor fits the new foldable. Open it, and your note opens beside the sidebar, like a book. • iPad, and a big iPhone on its side: a note opens beside the sidebar, like on the Mac. • Copy note link. Copy a link to any note and paste it anywhere. Open the link, and the note opens in Harbor. • Mark up images: Rotate left and Rotate right. • Merge keeps all of each note: text, images and tasks. Before, it kept only the titles. • If you sign in with Google or Apple only, you can now delete your account in the app. • Mac: File ▸ Copy Note Link (⌃⌥⌘L).

• Import from UpNote. Export your notes from UpNote as Markdown, then pick the folder it makes. Your notebooks, pictures and files come across. • Search finds a recording by what was said in it, and by its summary, even with no connection. • Share any file to Harbor. Spreadsheets, documents, zips and more are attached to a new note. Before, only images, PDFs and text were kept. • Mark up images in four sizes: S, M, L and XL. Apply crop shows only the part you kept. • The Notebooks screen sorts both ways. • Moving a note shows the notebooks in the workspace you are in. • Delete on the default notebook tells you why it can't be deleted, and lets you pick a new default. • In dark mode, a note no longer flashes white when it opens. • Typing in a long note is faster. • A space at the end of a line no longer disappears a few seconds after you type it. • Mac: drag files onto the note list or a notebook. Each file becomes its own note. • Mac: Undo and Redo buttons at the start of the formatting toolbar. • Mac: delete a file from the Files screen, and filter files by whether they are in a note. • Mac: Esc closes the ⌘K search box instead of leaving full screen. • Mac: a watched folder set to delete files after upload now moves them to the Trash. • iPad: the sidebar matches the Mac and the web. • iPhone and iPad: the drag handle shows only beside the line you are on.

• Mark up images. Draw arrows, boxes and text on any image in a note, or highlight, pixelate, hide and crop. On iPhone and iPad it works with touch and Apple Pencil. • Siri and Shortcuts. Create, find and add to notes, and create and complete tasks, without opening Harbor. On iOS 27 and macOS 27, Siri also understands requests like “Add passport to my Packing list note in Harbor.” • Spotlight finds your notes. Encrypted notes are never added. Turn it off with “Show notes in Siri and Spotlight” in Settings. • Import an Obsidian vault. Pick the vault folder, and Harbor brings in the notes, folders, links, tags and attachments. • Templates can pick a notebook and tags. Variables such as {{date}} follow your date and time settings. • Rename an attached file. • Code blocks have a Copy button. • A new note starts with the cursor in the title. Return moves to the body. • Mac: show or hide images, body text, tags and reminders in the note list, and group notes by month. • Mac: Quick Capture can let you mark up a screenshot before it is saved. • Mac: when you type a tag, Return picks the top suggestion. • iPhone and iPad: you can add a note, notebook or search to Shortcuts again. • iPhone and iPad: the tag sheet shows your matching tags first and the Create row last. • iPad: the Notebooks screen shows one + button, not two.

• A table of contents that keeps itself up to date. Type / and pick Table of contents, then choose tags. It lists the notes with those tags, updates on its own, and can be sorted by date or title. • Repeating tasks say what they do, in words, like “Repeats every Friday”, and when they are next due. • Tasks in a note look like the task list: the due date, the next due date and the repeat, on one line under the title. • Note info lists the note’s headings. Tap one to jump to it. • Export a note as ENEX, PDF, Markdown or HTML. • Index note is the new name for the button you see when you select several notes. • Wide tables scroll instead of squashing. • Ticking a checklist item no longer crosses out the items under it. • If the editor stops, Harbor reloads your note and never saves an empty page over it. • iPhone and iPad: pasting an image into a note works again, and a task due earlier today turns red once its time has passed. • iPad: the arrow keys move through the results in Link to note. • Mac: every export is built by Harbor’s servers, includes your attachments, and is emailed to you when it is ready.

• Change the size of text. Select text and pick Tiny, Small, Default, Large or Huge from the new size button. • Turn on “Show list guide lines” in Settings to draw a thin line next to each nested list. • Apps and scripts that use the Harbor API can add hidden labels to notes. Find those notes with meta: in search, for example meta:gallery=true. • Mac: when you drag a tag over the A–Z letters on the Tags screen, the letter under your pointer lights up. • iPhone and iPad: an open note now changes between light and dark with the rest of the app.

• Search words like tag:, notebook: and dates now work in iPhone and iPad search, saved searches and shortcuts, and in Mac search when you are offline. • Curly quotes “like this” now count as quotes in a search. • Mac: pick a default notebook in Settings and the sidebar star moves to it. New notes go there. • Mac: while you drag a tag on the Tags screen, hover a letter on the A–Z rail to jump to it.

• Colour in code blocks, with a language picker in each block. • Add YouTube videos to a note and play them right there. • Type # while you write to add a tag, or : to add an emoji. There is also a new emoji picker. • Jump straight to a notebook, stack or tag from quick search. • Simpler reminders: pick a time, and the day comes from the task's due date. A repeating task now says how it repeats. • Web clips no longer show a second scrollbar. • Editing a note no longer drops settings on embedded content, such as its size and alignment. • Mac: optional counts next to Tasks, Templates and Files. All sidebar settings are now in Settings › Sidebar.

• Web clips now look like the real page — cards, colors, buttons and pictures — instead of flat text. • Web clips are read-only, marked with a Web Clip badge, and can be turned into an ordinary note. • Copy text copies a web clip's words in one tap. • A new find bar in every note, and the words you searched for are highlighted when you open a result.

Press and hold text in a note on iPhone or iPad to select and copy it. To move a paragraph, tap it and drag the handle that appears in the left margin. Search now finds words inside your PDFs and scanned images, even when you are offline.

New on iPhone and iPad: a Home Screen Tasks widget. Your open tasks are right there — tap the circle to cross one off without opening Harbor, or tap a task to open it. Comes in two sizes. Plus fixes and improvements throughout.

You can now link one note to another right where you are typing. Type [[ or @ anywhere in a line to open the note picker, search as you type, and drop the link in. Before, this only worked at the start of an empty line.

Task reminders now actually fire on Mac and iPhone, and the task form tells you in plain English what a task will do before you save it. A repeating task now describes its schedule the same way it does on the web and on your other devices. Picking a date and time for a task on the Mac is now a calendar with hour and minute controls, instead of a clock face you had to drag.

The ⌘K quick-open palette can now create a notebook or a tag and switch workspaces. The editor's + insert menu now offers everything you get by typing /. Plus bug fixes and performance improvements.

Shared photos and files now upload without needing to open Harbor.

Shared photos now save to the active workspace so they appear immediately in Home and Notes.

• Table of contents — pick any notes and create a note that links to them all. • Publishing a note that links to private notes now warns you first, and offers to publish those too. • The "/" insert menu opens beside your cursor instead of jumping to the top of the window. • Mac: drag notes onto a notebook in the sidebar to move them, including notebooks pinned to Shortcuts. • Mac: right-click Trash in the sidebar to empty it.

Workspaces let you filter Harbor down to one area of your life. Signing in, creating an account and resetting your password have been redesigned. The note list on iPhone and iPad now shows preview images, with new options for how it looks and sorts. You can now indent and outdent nested lists on iPhone and iPad. Plus fixes for sign-out, Keychain access, and note thumbnails.

- Notes with a lot of tags no longer push the sidebar and note list off screen. - Importing from Evernote is faster and more reliable, and handles much larger files. - iPhone & iPad: share a note as a public link, copy it, and revoke it whenever you like. - A short "What's New" card after Harbor updates, so you can see what changed. - iPhone: fixed the drag handle for moving blocks being hard to grab near the left edge.

New in this update: • Standard Notes import — bring your notes, tags and attachments over from Standard Notes, with the option to encrypt everything as it comes in. • Markdown export — export your whole account as Markdown, or download any single note as a Markdown file. • Clear account — empty an account without deleting it, on Mac and on iPhone & iPad. • Files, rebuilt — an upload button, true totals, grid and list views, filters, and a details panel with a preview, file info, and which notes each file appears in. • Copy a note's ID straight from the Info panel. • Find notebooks — search your notebooks on iPhone and iPad. Also in this update: • Fixed images vanishing from a note the first time you edited it. • Text sizes and spacing on the Mac now match the rest of Harbor. • Arrow keys move the highlight in the note-link picker. • Notebook stacks keep their collapsed state through a rename. • The share confirmation now tells you when the note became public.

Harbor now runs on more devices. • iPhone & iPad: Harbor now requires iOS 18 instead of iOS 26, so it installs on iPhone XR, XS and XS Max. • Mac: Harbor now requires macOS 15 instead of macOS 26, including Intel Macs back to 2018. Also in this update: • Tasks: one sort menu, five fields, and both sort directions. • Repeating tasks: "Last day of the month" is now available in custom recurrence. • Encryption: ⌘L locks your encrypted notes on macOS and iPadOS, saving the open editor first. Harbor also no longer offers encryption setup before your first sync has finished. • Watched folders: the "suggest a title" setting now applies on the Mac. • Fixed a crash when recording audio on a Mac with no microphone. • Fixed sync, the editor, and the idle lock getting stuck after the system clock moved backwards. • Notebooks on iPhone and iPad now list ungrouped notebooks first, then stacks, with Trash last. • Clearer messages when an attachment is too large for your plan, and clearer passkey errors.

Bug fixes and performance improvements.
