We’ve added push notifications so you never miss a change: new shifts, schedule updates, open shifts, requests, and approvals now come straight to your phone. You can also choose to receive friendly reminders about upcoming shifts and missed clock-ins.

You can now request shift swaps with teammates right from the app! Pick your shift, suggest an exchange — and if someone accepts, the swap is done. Please note that this feature must be enabled by your team admin in settings. Approval may also be required.

• Drop Shift functionality – Employees can now request to drop their assigned shifts when needed. Availability of this option depends on team settings. • Flexible admin controls – Team admins can choose whether to allow shift drops and whether approval is required. Once approved, a dropped shift can either become an open shift or be directly reassigned to another employee. • Push notifications – Receive real-time updates when a shift is dropped, approved, or rejected.

Introducing Chat in Shifts! Team members can communicate directly or in groups in real-time, without sharing personal info. Available on web and mobile. Admins control to enable/disable it in team preferences.
