Manga now turns the right way with the animated page turn: swiping left-to-right moves to the next page again

- Klibri now reads Komga servers too (1.20 or later). Enter the address: Klibri recognizes Kavita or Komga on its own - Progress, Want to Read, bookmarks, reading lists and collections work with Komga too - Reading brightness is kept for each account

Changing the reading direction now works right away, even in the middle of a book Unchecking "read" sends the book back to the first page

Two-page view now reads like a real book: a single sheet turns and both pages change, and the pages meet at the fold — no more black gap cutting a double-page spread in two Animated page turn is now on by default, and in manga it finally starts from the right edge EPUB gets the page turn too, and a single "Columns" mode: one column in portrait, an open book with two columns in landscape Chapter arrows follow the reading direction, and the "Left" direction now shows an arrow that points left Double tap now works on a zoomed page, and pages appear more smoothly

Animated page turn, off by default and switched on in Reading settings The reader now shows the series and the volume or chapter you are on, without leaving the page Volumes no longer read out of order — a series could jump from volume 2 to volume 14 Reading on from a reading list now follows the list's own order, and bookmarks carry on too

Search across every library, from Home or the iPad sidebar — works offline on what you already have A series page now has Volumes and Chapters tabs, and a volume holding several chapters expands so you can open the one you want Series whose documents belong to no volume no longer show a single item

In Scroll mode, a tap near the left or right edge no longer turns the chapter right after you scrolled: a flick can no longer cost you your place in the book Keep scrolling past the end of a chapter and the next one opens, so you never have to aim at an edge to carry on reading If you chose double tap to show the bars, the side zones now follow that choice in Scroll mode instead of turning the chapter on a single tap

Dark and Black themes now make the book's own text readable: an EPUB that sets its text colour itself no longer shows black on black New order control on a series: list volumes and chapters last to first, to reach the end of a long series without scrolling through it. Kept per account, and the reader still moves through chapters in reading order

A double-page spread saved as one wide image now takes the whole screen on its own, instead of being squeezed into half of it next to an unrelated page New setting "Page pairing" in the reader: shift the pairing by one when a double-page spread is split across two screens. Set per series and per server, and offered only when two pages are actually side by side Read right to left, the progress bar now fills and scrubs right to left, like the pages Turning the device no longer loses your place In double page, the second page no longer disappears after a couple of minutes without touching the screen Four pages are now kept ready on each side of the one you are reading, instead of two Leaving the app releases the images it held; coming back puts you straight back on your page, and the app switcher no longer shows what you were reading

New setting "Show reader controls": single tap (as before) or double tap, for readers who kept fading the bars in by touching the page while scrolling. Page turns on the sides are unchanged; in double-tap mode the sides still zoom In scroll mode, a touch that merely stops the scrolling no longer shows or hides the bars The reader's bars are now pinned to the screen and no longer follow a keyboard. A report of the bottom bar sitting halfway up the screen could not be reproduced yet; if you see it, tell us your device and whether you use Split View or Stage Manager The accent colour now belongs to the account that picked it, instead of applying to all of your accounts Two accounts on the same server now share the covers they have already downloaded, rather than fetching and storing each one twice Reading preferences now belong to the account: how a tap shows the bars, double page, the EPUB layout, keeping the screen on, Wi-Fi-only preloading and the language of the interface are each remembered per account (the preloading mode and the storage clean-up stay device-wide) Downloads and the reading cache are shared between accounts of the same server: a chapter downloaded or simply read by one opens straight away from the other, with a single copy on the device, and shows as downloaded for both

In scroll mode, the first lines of a chapter no longer run under the notch or the Dynamic Island Fixed EPUB text staying small no matter the font size: most books were being laid out as a wide desktop page and shrunk to fit the screen, so 32 px looked like 13. Sizes now mean what they say, and pinch-to-zoom is no longer needed

New "Finished" filter in a library: every series you have read through, grouped by the month you last read it New "Statistics" screen in Settings: series finished, series in progress, pages read, and your most read series Statistics are counted once, then follow your reading on their own — the screen opens instantly and still shows its last figures with no connection, with the date they were counted Reading time is shown as an estimate, and says so: Kavita does not time your reading

Libraries open instantly. Klibri keeps them and only fetches again when your server has something new — pull down to refresh any time Reading progress now shows up right away under each cover Switching accounts no longer leaves the previous one's screens behind Fixed the app filling up your device over time and eventually refusing to start, on very large libraries Fixed a large library freezing the app while it loaded Fixed a series not opening from "Want to Read" on iPhone A dropped connection no longer leaves a library half-loaded "Clear cache" in Settings now clears everything it should

Reading lists can now be filled from the app: a button on the series page adds it to any list, or to a new one you name on the spot — and tapping a list it is already in takes it back out. The Reading Lists tab creates empty lists, and a list's own page has a reorder button — drag the entries into the order you want — plus a menu on each entry to move or remove it Collections can be filled from the app too, from the same button: add the series to a collection, or to a new one — and touch it again to take it out Read in landscape on iPhone, which the app never allowed: turn the phone and a comic shows two pages side by side, the way the book was drawn. The cover stays alone so every later spread falls right, and the switch is in the reader's settings Share the page you are reading, straight from the reader Smart filters saved in Kavita show up under Libraries, and open the series they select Switch servers from the iPhone home screen: the server's name under the greeting opens the picker, when you have more than one Fixed covers coming out as empty placeholders on a device whose stored session had lost its API key — images authenticate with that key, so everything else kept working while nothing showed A Bookmarks screen gathers every page you kept, series by series — pinned in the Lists tab on iPhone, under "Want to Read" in the iPad sidebar, and hidden while you have none Bookmarks now open where they point: touching one opens its chapter on the bookmarked page Books can be bookmarked as well, on the section you are reading, and their bookmarks are listed as text — a book has no page image to show Share a bookmarked page: long press it in the bookmarks sheet and send or save the page itself Rate a series out of five and write your review, from the card under the summary. Both land on your Kavita server, so the web UI shows them too Bookmark a page while reading: the reader's button marks it on your Kavita server, so it shows up in the web reader too. Series pages get a bookmarks button showing the marked pages as thumbnails Series pages list related series — prequels, sequels, side stories, spin-offs — when your server declares them

"Want to Read" is now in Klibri: the read-later list you already have on your Kavita server. Find it pinned at the top of the Lists tab on iPhone, and just under Home in the iPad sidebar Add or remove a series with the bookmark button on its page — a long press on a cover in the list removes it too The home screen shows a "Want to Read" row, right under "In progress" Read it offline: Klibri can preload the first unread chapter of each series, the first three, or the whole series — over Wi-Fi only if you prefer. Turned off until you choose in Settings Preloaded chapters clean up after themselves, once read or after a delay you set, and removing a series from the list deletes what was preloaded for it. Downloads you started yourself are never touched Home screen covers are a little smaller and the sections tighter, so more fits on screen

Webtoon reading: a chapter is now marked as read as soon as you reach its end. Chapters ending with a short page — a credits page, for instance — stayed stuck just below 100% and were never marked as read The "Continue" button now fits its label on narrower iPhones instead of breaking it across two lines

1.1.1 Security: hardened archive extraction (CBZ/EPUB) against Zip Slip — entries that try to escape the destination folder are now rejected, and the API key is less exposed Fixed the page-read counter showing 0/0 on a series opened from "Recently Updated" Fixed Klibri showing up as an unidentified "Unknown Client" in Kavita'''s Client Devices page Fixed the library not refreshing after switching between accounts/servers on the same device

1.1.0 Library search: now searches your whole library. On large libraries (more than 500 series), some series were missing from search results; every series is now loaded and found, matching what Kavita's own search returns

1.0.10 Library search: now finds series ignoring accents and word order, and matches a series by its localized, original or sort name — not just its displayed name EPUB reader: "Continue" now resumes exactly where you stopped — your precise spot in the chapter (scroll position or page), in both scroll and column modes, instead of jumping back to the first page EPUB reader: new "Black" theme (true black, ideal for OLED screens), alongside Light, Paper and Dark EPUB reader: choose your reading font among 6 built-in fonts — System, New York, Georgia, Palatino, Iowan Old Style, Times New Roman EPUB reader: fine-tune typography — font size, line spacing, word spacing and side margins (margins now span a wide range, effective on iPad too) EPUB reader: redesigned "Aa" panel — stays open while you adjust, shows the current values, with a live preview behind it; search now has its own button EPUB reader: formatting changed while reading is also saved as your global default (Settings → EPUB reading) EPUB reader: new in-book search — find a word or phrase across the whole book, results grouped by chapter (from the table of contents) and opening on the chapter you're reading; tap to jump to the passage with matches highlighted

1.0.9 Reading: new "Keep screen on while reading" setting (on by default) — the device no longer auto-locks while a chapter is open; the screen still locks when you leave the app Home: new "Recently Updated Series" section, between "In Progress" and "Recently Added", with a badge in the top-right corner of each cover showing how many new chapters/files were added (matching your theme color) Home: the "Recently Added" section now appears before "Reading Lists" Webtoon mode (continuous vertical scroll): pinch-to-zoom now works for PDFs, comics (CBZ/CBR) and any series read as a webtoon — pinch to zoom in and out, drag to move around when zoomed Normal vertical reading is unchanged when not zoomed Mark as read: marking a single chapter as read no longer marks the whole series as read — only that chapter is now updated

1.0.8 Comic reader (CBZ/CBR) and PDF reader: pinch-to-zoom now works — pinch to zoom in and out, drag to move around when zoomed, and double-tap to zoom in or reset Page swiping and tap navigation are unchanged when not zoomed

1.0.7 EPUB reader (column mode): tapping the sides now turns the page instead of jumping to the next chapter EPUB reader (column mode): equal top and bottom reading margins EPUB reader: showing the toolbar no longer shifts the text or changes the page count — it's now a true temporary overlay EPUB reader: scroll mode uses the same centered text area and the same font and size as column mode (fixes text stuck to the left edge on some books) Library now refreshes on its own: newly added books appear without having to log out and back in, and the session is renewed automatically in the background

1.0.6 EPUB reader: fixed cases where the page wouldn't scroll down to show the rest of the text EPUB reader: the bottom bar no longer covers the last lines of text — you can also tap the center of the screen to hide it EPUB reader: fewer accidental page turns — the side tap zones are smaller and rapid repeated taps are now ignored Sidebar (iPad): you can now switch back to a library while a collection is open

1.0.5 Collections: browse your Kavita collections in a dedicated tab (iPhone) and sidebar section (iPad) Reading Lists: always visible in the iPad sidebar, even when empty Mark as read/unread: toggle button on each chapter and volume row Mark entire series as read in one tap Restart button: resets all progress and opens from the first page of the first chapter Fully read series now show a checkmark badge on their cover in the library grid Support link added in Settings Fixed version number display in Settings
