ManimStudio renders mathematical animations on iPhone and iPad using manim, the open-source animation engine behind 3Blue1Brown's videos. Type a Scene class, tap Render, and watch the math come to life as a video — entirely on-device, no signup, no cloud.
Built for math educators, content creators, and students who want to visualize mathematics without leaving their iPhone or iPad. ManimStudio bundles everything manim needs — there is nothing to install or configure.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Author Scene classes that produce animated videos using manim's full mobject API: Text, MathTex, Circle, Square, Arrow, Graph, NumberPlane, Transform, FadeIn, Write, Create.
• Render at multiple qualities (480p, 720p, 1080p, 4K) with hardware video encoding via Apple VideoToolbox.
• Compose mathematical formulas with LaTeX-backed Tex and MathTex mobjects — the LaTeX engine is bundled, no internet needed.
• Auto-detect every Scene class in your file with the built-in scene picker.
• Preview the rendered video the moment manim finishes — saved as MP4 to the Files app or shared to Photos, AirDrop, Mail.
WHAT'S BUNDLED
manim, numpy, scipy, sympy, matplotlib, plotly, PyAV, Cairo, and a full LaTeX engine.
ManimStudio works entirely offline. No account, no telemetry, no internet required.
Calificaciones y reseñas
Esta app no ha recibido suficientes calificaciones ni reseñas para mostrar un resumen.
Faster start
The terminal is ready a few seconds after launch instead of nearly ten. Plotting libraries load the first time your code uses them, and plots still show inline.
Faster re-renders
Every MathTex formula is typeset once and kept, so re-rendering a scene skips straight past formulas it has already seen.
Lighter and smaller
The LaTeX engine loads only when your code uses LaTeX, instead of taking about 800 MB of memory from every session, and the app is about 100 MB smaller.
Smoother tabs
Gallery, System and History open without the hitch, and the Gallery's animation uses less power.
iPhone Duo
Held half-open like a laptop, one screen is the app and the other is only the keyboard, with ManimStudio's extra keys right on it. The keyboard comes up by itself in the editor and the terminal and goes away when you open the Duo flat. Opened flat, the header and the Controls sidebar fit the screen better.
Terminal
Output stays when you switch panes on iPhone, Ctrl-L clears the screen but keeps the line you're typing, c++, g++ and clang++ explain that there's no compiler, and manim no longer checks the internet for a newer version after every render.
