Current tasks: keep long-running work from slipping out of sight. - Mark any task as Current to pin it to a dedicated section at the top of your list, above Today. - Track momentum with a progress bar you can update from the task's detail view or a quick menu. - An idle badge appears when a Current task hasn't been touched for a while, so slow-burn projects don't stall silently. Set the idle threshold in Settings. - Available on iPhone and Mac.

Bug fix for the home screen widgets. The Today's Tasks and Upcoming widgets no longer push their header off the top, or clip the bottom rows, when you have more tasks than fit. This was most noticeable with larger text sizes. The header now stays in place, the visible tasks fit neatly, and a "+N more" count appears on the last line.

New: Calm Mode (Settings > Tasks). A no-stress option that stops singling out overdue tasks - no red due dates, no separate Overdue list or counts. Overdue tasks simply appear in Today, in the app and your widgets. Off by default.

You can now manage projects without leaving the app: • Create projects with a title, description, colour, and favourite • Edit or rename any project • Archive projects you're done with — and restore them later from the new Archived view • Delete a project, with a clear warning since it also removes the project's tasks On iPhone, tap + on the Projects tab. On Mac, use the + next to Projects in the sidebar (or press Command-Shift-N).

This update adds an About screen in Settings, with the app version, a link to report bugs or request features, a link to the source on GitHub, and ways to support development.

Shake your iPhone right after completing a task to undo it. mDone shows a quick confirmation naming the task ("Undo completing "…"?") so an accidental shake never silently reverses anything, and only your most recent completion can be undone.

• Choose which of your device calendars appear in mDone (Settings › Calendar). • Set a default due time for tasks you add to Today without typing a time (Settings › Tasks). • Tasks you add to Today are no longer marked overdue straight away. • All-day tasks no longer look overdue until the day is actually over. • Edits to a task’s description now appear immediately instead of only after restarting the app.

What's new in 1.3.0 • Estimated duration on tasks Add a quick estimate (15m / 30m / 1h / 2h / 4h, or a custom hours+minutes value) when creating a task — from the Quick Add bar or later from the task detail screen. As you type a new task title, mDone can suggest an estimate based on how long similar tasks you've focused on actually took. • Focus history on every task Task detail now shows the total focused time and number of sessions for any task you've used the Focus Timer on. New Small (1×1) and Extra Large (iPad) layouts. • Quick Add from the widget A "+" button in the Today's Tasks and Upcoming widget headers jumps straight to the Inbox with the "Add a task…" field already focused. • Start of week Settings → Appearance lets you override the calendar's first day (System / Sunday / Monday / Saturday). Plus fixes for duplicated widget rows, the calendar weekday header, advanced filter date ranges, the +24h swipe action, and the version label in Settings.

What’s new in 1.1.2: • Task descriptions written in Vikunja’s web UI now render with formatting (bullets, bold, italic, links) instead of showing raw HTML markup. Description previews are also now shown by default when a description is present. • Description preview now respects Dynamic Type / system text size. • Fixed a crash when opening projects whose tasks had duplicate position data on the Vikunja server.

Sort your tasks your way - You can now sort tasks by due date, priority, or title and toggle between ascending and descending order. Available on both iOS and macOS.
