EN ROUTE CLIMB VIEW Intended to be used during flight, this view shows you your best en route climb speed (95% best rate of climb) from the AFM. Use the sliders to set your fuel remaining, altitude, and outside air temperature, and adjust them periodically to ensure you continue to maintain your best rate of climb. Useful for when ATC requests your best rate, or just want you want those warm fuzzies that your Vision Jet is giving you its best. CUSTOM UNITS Set your desired units for everything: weight, volume, speed, air pressure, etc. Useful when flying in Europe or other metric areas. SEPARATE DRY/WET SAFETY FACTORS If your OpSpecs require you to use different safety factors for dry vs. contaminated runways, now you can give SF50 TOLD these two different safety factors. SF50 TOLD will use the "wet" safety factor for all contaminated runway landings.

NEW FEATURE: CUSTOM TAKEOFF/LANDING SCENARIOS Customize your Takeoff/Landing Report with your own scenarios. Under Settings, tap Takeoff/Landing Scenarios…, and then add or remove scenarios. Performance data for the G2+ VisionJet added. This performance data also applies to any G2 VisionJet with the Updated Thrust Schedule (SB5X-72-01R3) applied. To use the Updated Thrust Schedule performance data, tap Settings and then tap the Use Updated Thrust Schedule toggle. Your setting will be remembered for all subsequent app launches until changed again.

NOTAMS You can now add NOTAMs for temporary runway length changes or temporary obstacles, and those changes will be reflected in your resulting performance information. Takeoff or landing distances that exceed the NOTAMed runway length will be displayed in red, and takeoff climb gradients that are insufficient to clear NOTAMed obstacles will be displayed in red as well. To add NOTAMs, a new “NOTAMs” item has been added to the Takeoff and Landing views beneath the runway number. Simply tap it and enter in the required information. Any changes in performance information will be updated immediately. NOTAMs are stored per runway. If you enter NOTAM information for OAK runway 28R, that NOTAM will only be used for takeoffs or landings from that specific runway. NOTAMs are remembered between app launches. All NOTAMs are erased each time a new database cycle is downloaded. IMPORTANT CHANGES Version 1.2.2 introduces a change in how weather (METARs and TAFs) is downloaded. Previously, all weather data from a long list of U.S. airports was downloaded at once. Now, weather is downloaded on-demand whenever you select a new airport. The advantage of this is that airports whose METARs were previously not available (such as KSQL and KCVO) can now be loaded. The disadvantage is that once you are in-flight without cell service, you will not be able to download weather for additional airports.
