What's New in Drive Case 1.4 Annual Cost Breakdown A new Stats section on each vehicle breaks down fuel and service spend by calendar year, with a stacked bar chart, per-year cost-per-mile calculation, and a lifetime running-cost summary. For multi-year owners it answers the question "are my costs going up?" at a glance. Service History Check The vehicle Overview now shows a Service History Check card that compares your actual logged service records against standard maintenance intervals. If your last oil change was 7,500 miles ago or your brake inspection is overdue based on your history, Drive Case flags it - without requiring you to set up a reminder first. The full breakdown, including a progress bar for each tracked service type, is available in the new Stats tab. Business Mileage Log Export The Export screen now includes a Business Mileage Log option whenever you have business or commute trips on file. It generates a CSV with one row per trip (date, vehicle, name, start mileage, end mileage, miles, purpose, notes), a subtotal row for each calendar year, and a grand total - ready to hand to an accountant or attach to an expense report for IRS mileage deduction.

What's New in Drive Case 1.3 Tire Tracker Each vehicle now has a dedicated Tires section with full tire-set records (brand, model, size, installed mileage) and per-position tread depth logging in 32nds of an inch — the standard gauge measurement. Log readings for all four positions at once, and Drive Case shows a colour-coded wear grid, a projected miles-to-replace estimate based on your measured wear rate, and safety warnings when tread reaches the 4/32" wet-traction caution level or the 2/32" NHTSA legal minimum. Previous tire sets are kept for reference. Trip Log A new Trips section on each vehicle lets you record named trips with start and end mileage, date, purpose (Personal, Business, Commute, Road Trip, Errand), and optional notes. The section shows total miles logged and business miles separately — useful for reimbursement or tax records. Trips are also visible in the standalone Trip Log view. Adding a trip automatically updates the vehicle's current mileage if the end mileage is higher. Fuel Insights The Fuel tab now includes a Fuel Insights card showing your best and worst single-tank MPG with the date of each, average price per gallon across all logged fill-ups, average monthly fuel spend, and a breakdown of octane grades used. These analytics sit above the existing fill-up list and require at least two entries to appear.

Version 1.2 is a big upgrade. New — a working Document Vault (import files or photos, QuickLook preview), receipt photo capture on every service and fuel entry, PDF and CSV export for one vehicle or the whole garage, an offline Expected-MPG card backed by 7,500+ rows of EPA fuel-economy data, a possible-open-recalls card (always verify by VIN), a maintenance Reference library (25 service intervals + 10 guides), a multi-vehicle dashboard switcher, and cost-per-mile analytics. Fixed MPG to use full-tank segments and squashed reminder bugs. Still fully offline — no account, no ads, no tracking, no subscription.
