The app has been conceived to upgrade the latest tactical helmet torch on the market made by Mirafan.
RideX creates a smart environment by which the helmet torch becomes fully programmable and customized down to every single user.
The app is granting the access to a new era of smart devices both for professionals and for sport enthusiasts, the connectivity OWN (only when needed) and the total customization is a giant leap in tactical accessories which will allow the end user to be focused on the real operation having at the same time an always ready to go professional tool.
The connection between the app and the torch is made via BLE which is switched off during operation.
Main functionalities on the app are:
Total control of the RGB LEDs (white, Blue and Red). The user can program the intensity of the 3 LEDs and the duration of the light source with the touch of a finger. (the user can decide if more Lumen are needed for the mission or a longer duration of the light)
Total control of the IR source. The user can decide the intensity of the IR LED or to add an additional IFF in the frontal region.
Total control of the IFF LED. The user can choose between 5 different IFF pre-set patterns or create its unique pattern
Additional features are:
Mass settings. With one device the team Commander can set all the parameters of the entire team with the single touch of a button.
Battery status. The app connects to the torch and is giving the battery status in real time.
