BLOCK ADS ON EVERY SITE
Brave Shields stops banner ads, pop-ups, autoplay interruptions, and the ads that play before and during videos. Same on news sites, shopping sites, forums and video pages — no per-site setup, no ad blocker extension. It dismisses cookie consent banners too, and it's on from your first tab.

Overall, I really like the Brave browser. It’s fast, intuitive and has a lot of customization options. I also like the way in which you can sync multiple devices, without having to create an account, like in other browsers.A small improvement that I would love to see is the option to edit a bookmark from the quick menu. At the moment, only the “Add bookmark” option is available and you don’t know exactly if you bookmarked a page or not, that leading into the scenario of the same page being bookmarked multiple times. Of course, that’s not a deal breaker, but I think it will be a nice feature to be able to see if a page is already bookmarked, from the quick menu!Great browser overall!

Awesome browser, fast, adfree, easily synced with all my other devices, but please fix the instability when watching full screen videos or even when pulling down the control center while in private mode. Sometimes when switching apps, exiting brave and then switching back to it via the app switcher, it freezes, i mean brave still runs because, when i pull down to refresh i feel the haptics, but the screen is frozen to the last shown frame before the switching apps. This happens a lot when pulling down the control center in private mode, since it blocks the screen while doing it. Seems like a privacy thing that tries to blur the screen when pulling the control center or switching to other apps, and while the animation runs, the screen goes black (which does as intended) but also in some cases it glitches.And for the love of god, update the keyboard to ios 26, could also make more rounded corners, dont go into transparency and glass ux, youll need to optimize the heck out of it which will use a lot of braves budget and time, and will probably still run poor on some older devices, but something refreshing could help imo.Mainly, fix the instability and i’ll personally come back and modify the review to 5 stars, until then, this is my feedback (3 stars for now)

As a developer myself, I really love this browser and the awesome work the team continuously does. In my daily routine I only encountered 2 annoying issues until now, 1 of them being already fixed at the moment of writing this review(Mobile Bookmarks always being the starting point in bookmarks section), but the other one is related to media playback and it is described below in a few phrases: - many times when I play something especially from YT Music and I put the app in background, I can see the animation of it going to the Dynamic Island, but it stops after ~1 sec and I found 2 workarounds, either restart the app and try again which sometime does, or if I long press fast enough to the Dynamic Island right when the app goes in background and then I click on Play button after it is paused, then it continues to work in background; - also, if I play music saved in a playlist, I can only see the name of the playlist on the lock-screen, not the name of the currently playing track and the artist, as I would expect; When these issues are fixed, I will happily give you guys the 5 stars that you really deserve. Thanks for your great work!

User experience is such a huge factor nowadays, but the simple activity of navigating the web turns out to be the most non-UX thing out there. When you want to read some news and every line of text is divided by countless ads, you just want to throw your phone away. Especially if, like me, you are and ad-proof person, meaning that no ad ever has any marketing influence on you, you’d never purchase a product or service because of an ad and the only thing they do is to annoy you over the top. Brave blocks all ads and finally gives you the peace you want when surfing the web, and for this, it desecration my appreciation. Thanks!
