Is a good app to use especially when you are a daily Lidl client but has some inconvenience. For example if u change the country the language of the app will change as well and is a high chance for you to don’t know the language of said country. The app may become useless. Will be nice to have the possibility when you change the country to keep the language from previous or at least to switch to a default English.

It is unacceptable that in 2025 a company of Lidl’s size, operating across nearly all EU countries, still fails to provide an English version of the LIDL Plus app — regardless of which country you’re in. The absence of this option points to one of two things: either a serious lack of investment (unlikely), or a complete disregard for international customers — the kind of attitude that has no place in a Europe where freedom of movement is a fundamental right.The app is practically unusable for millions of EU citizens who live, work, or travel across member states. A company that ignores the reality of European mobility sends a very clear message: we don’t care about you unless you speak the local language. Such a sales strategy goes against the very principles of the European Union and is unworthy of a brand that claims to serve “everyone.”I hope this critical flaw will no longer be tolerated or ignored. It’s time for Lidl to align not just with EU regulations, but also with its core values.

When you retired the other Lidl app, the one that allowed the customer to make a shopping list, the expectation was this remaining one would incorporate the useful features of the old one. It does not! The shopping list feature is absolutely useless, it does not include the photo of the item, the price or the date when the item is avalaible. It just gives you the name of the item, and even that is incomplete if too long, so you have to guess. You are better off using pen and paper and the printed leaflet. This app basically gives me a headache every time I use it. Since Lidl has the same owner as Kaufland, why oh why would you not adapt their app, especially the shopping list feature, which is practically perfect?

Lidl Plus seems to have entered a competition with its users’ patience. The app is extremely slow, takes forever to load, and has enough bugs to make you wonder whether you’re using a shopping app or testing a beta version.One of the most annoying things is that sometimes you can’t even view the products in certain categories anymore. The stock information also doesn’t update properly, which means the information displayed in the app can no longer really be considered reliable.And no, the problem isn’t my internet connection or my phone. The connection works perfectly, and all my other apps run without any issues. Only Lidl Plus somehow manages to turn a simple product check into an exercise in patience.The app should be a useful tool for shopping, not something that makes you give up before you even manage to see which products are available.Lidl, maybe it’s time for fewer bugs and more optimization. At the moment, the overall experience is much more frustrating than useful.
