One color, a moment to look then find it again Palette Party is a quiet test of color perception. A single color fills the screen for a moment. The screen resets to neutral gray. Then four swatches appear, and you tap the one that matched what you saw. Simple to start, surprisingly hard to master. Each round gives you a little less time to look, and the three wrong colors edge closer to the right one — close enough that by round thirty you are working at the very edge of what the eye can resolve. HOW IT WORKS • A color fills the screen. Look closely. • The screen clears to neutral gray. • Four swatches appear. Tap the one that matched. • Keep your streak alive and push to the next round. WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT Color differences are measured with CIEDE2000, the same perceptual model used in professional color work. The difficulty scales by how colors actually look to the human eye — not by raw math that ignores perception. The result is a curve that feels fair and relentless at the same time.
