One app for the two road transport exams: the Transport Manager CPC that an operator needs to run a haulage business, and the Driver CPC initial qualification that a lorry driver needs to drive for a living.
You pick your side on the first screen, manager or driver, and one purchase unlocks both. The choice can be changed in settings at any time, and each side keeps its own progress.
TRANSPORT MANAGER: TWO PAPERS, TWO SEPARATE PASS MARKS
Paper 1 is multiple choice, two hours, no materials, with a 70% pass mark: 42 of 60 questions with NLTC and SEG, 28 of 40 with CILT. Paper 2 is a case study worth 60 marks, taken with reference material, with a nominal pass mark of 30. You need both, and if you fail one you resit only that paper. The mock exam uses the 60-question format; check your own awarding body's paper before you book.
1,200 questions across the eight subject areas: civil law, commercial law, social legislation, fiscal matters, business and financial management, access to the market, technical standards and operation, road safety. Drivers' hours and tachographs sit where the syllabus puts them, and so does load securing.
230 of those are calculations. Costing a vehicle, pricing a job, working out hours and rest, reading a tachograph chart. You enter each figure and compare it against the worked answer, because Paper 2 is marked on the working, not only on the result.
120 case studies put a real operating decision in front of you and ask for the reasoning as well as the numbers.
DRIVER CPC: PART 1A AND PART 2
Part 1a is 100 multiple-choice questions in 115 minutes, 85 to pass. Part 2 is seven case studies, 50 questions, an hour and a quarter, 40 to pass. The app has a separate mode for each, and the case study mode builds a paper that adds up to 50 questions exactly rather than a short one. Hazard perception (Part 1b) and the practical tests are not covered.
1,310 questions on the vehicle and its systems, fuel-efficient driving, loading and load securing, drivers' hours and tachographs, road and workplace risk, health and fitness, emergencies, and the haulage market. On top of that, 21 case studies built for Part 2.
200 FLASHCARDS PER SIDE
Time limits, thresholds, amounts and definitions: the things nobody works out on the day. Each card carries its source on the back. A card you know comes back less often, one that trips you up comes back tomorrow.
EVERY QUESTION CITES ITS SOURCE
The explanation names the regulation, the Act or the guidance the answer rests on, so you can look it up instead of memorising it.
OFFLINE, NO ACCOUNT
No sign-up, no adverts, no connection needed. Everything sits on the phone, so you can revise on the train, in a lay-by or in a waiting room.
WHAT IS FREE
A quarter of every subject area is open from the start, never fewer than twenty questions per module, and the mock exam runs on that sample. You reach every screen before paying. Full access is a one-off purchase, not a subscription.
