I started to use this app slightly before going on my vacation to Rome, one of the cities with plenty things to visit. I booked all the entrance tickets to all the major tourist attractions easily and things have went exactly as it was described in the app. From booking to notifications and all the instructions received, it has eliminated all the stress of waiting in long queues and running for tickets on spot. From all the services used I wold like to mention Crown Tours for the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hills, very organized and friendly staff, young and funny and very knowledgeable.
Invalid Nintendo Museum Tickets — Misleading Practice

I purchased tickets through GetYourGuide that were advertised as valid admission to the Nintendo Museum in Kyoto, at a price significantly higher than the official rate. When we arrived, the tickets were not recognised and did not allow us to enter.The Nintendo Museum states that tickets must be purchased through its official system and that resale is prohibited. Despite this, GetYourGuide sells access supplied by third-party providers, takes the customer’s payment directly, and then tries to shift responsibility to the reseller when the tickets do not work.For the customer, the result is simple: unusable tickets, lost money, a wasted journey, and no immediate solution. I consider this practice highly misleading. A platform that sells and collects payment for a service should be responsible for verifying that what it sells is valid and should provide a full refund when the service cannot be delivered.

The app is easy and nice, but on my first booking of what was supposed to be a relaxing spa experience, I had the worst and stressful one ever, with a filthy spa and a pick up promised that never happened and even though I left a negative review, unless you check the solo travellers section it wouldn’t show. The place was nothing like in the pictures and the refund that I got was covering a quarter from what I payed. The service should have last for 2-3 hours and it’s lasted for one, which I’m actually happy about because if I would have spent more time there I’d actually leave with an illness or something. I hope that this is not happening with more service providers of the app but before booking anything check the solo travellers filter section😔
