I’m a person having a cochlear implant and it helps me a lot in order to check the progress but also to check the good ear. I warmly recommend the app to everyone wanting to check his hearing.

The app is cool because have some profiles for some decent types of headphones! Is the only app like that! What I don’t like is that they don’t show you the values for every frequency tester! Sure you can synchronize it with Apple health and then they show you the audiogram though. Why they don’t show it in the app is a mystery for me. Also they don’t test under 250hz. Just between 250hz and 8khz. An audiogram should start with 125. I’m willing to pay for a more decent version but is not available! Compared with a professional test made by an audiologist the losses in dB are pretty spot on (the media) but on each frequencies they are not consistent from test to test let alone fit the professional audiogram. Now keep in mind the headphones! I own the Sony WF-1000XM5 which from my own experience are better than Apple or Beats! They are pretty liniar with a slight drop around 1Khz. If they made the profile good then is good enough!
