Description
Public Transport Timisoara is a dedicated transportation app, which helps you get real-time vehicle arrival times from Timișoara's local public transport system (STPT) directly to your iPhone or iPad.
Use your device to see the arrival times obtained from the real-time GPS tracking units installed on all public transport vehicles (trams, buses, and trolleybuses). The app connects directly to Timisoara's Local Transport Authority's (STPT) servers and presents the arrival information in a format optimized for mobile devices. The estimated times are from the real-time GPS tracking units installed on the public transport vehicles and represent the real-time traffic situation in the city.
It features a simple and intuitive interface designed for quick browsing and information access. Arrival times are displayed in two formats:
- N min the live time, obtained via GPS until the vehicle arrives in the station
- HH: MM the scheduled vehicle arrival time. The scheduled time will most commonly be displayed when the vehicle has not yet left the end-station (i.e. no vehicle heading your way)

Better than ever
I really love the new aspect of the app.
Lies
Claims to update based on actual locations yet I was late for work twice last week due to delays over 20 minutes (during non-busy hours) and waited for a bus that never came once last week and once this week having to walk 4km home in the cold and with a broken leg on crutches.
Useless
If i could give it zero stars, I would. Times indicated are just an approximation and in 80% of cases they are just wrong. The error message ‘cannot connect to server’ appears so often, it became more familiar to me than their logo.
