Rixos Hotels 4+

First of all the departure from Bucharest was very early and we went through the entire night without sleeping. Once we arrived at the airport in Antalya there was no one waiting for us all tough we had a private transfer! We had to go to dertour desk in order to sort thing out where there was already a que of approx 180 people
Once we arrived at the hotel the intial room was ok, but because it was in the main building there was a lot of noise coming from the hallway and from the cleaning staff, also from one room to another (we booked the deluxe family room which had 2 bedrooms) so we asked for un upgrade to a pool villa which we finally managed to obtain from the second day by paying an extra 1300 euros on top of the 5500 for the initial room and 200 for the transfer from the airport adding up to a total of 7000 euros for 7 nights
I believe that for this amount of money the minibar was poorly stocked only having some plastic water bottles and beer and some sweets, but after the upgrade we had an extra 2 bottles of wine, one red and one white also the private service from 12 to 18 which served cocktails and so on and the private restaurant for breakfast and dinner were a nice addition.
The not so good part was the fact that when we arrived at the room clearly the bathroom was recently used and not cleaned because of the drops of pee that the toilet ball was splashed with and also other stains that were clearly very old. The upper shower was clogged and the doors did not close properly!
Also the walls at the pool villa were very thin, so thin actually that I could hear from the next villa when at 4 o clock each morning the alarm clock of my neighbour was going off on a daily basis!!
So the pictures from the website are clearly photoshopped.
So to summarise, my experience was not a very pleasant one and I think for me and for my family who were coming from New York it was the first and last time visiting your resort
Not to mention that my mother sprained her ankle and there was not a single person who could give her a Medicinal bandage also the doctor wanted to charge her 150 euros just to speak with her.
The people at the reception especially the manager were not very welcoming
So overall the outside looks pretty good but the hotel is poorly maintained
The beach area has no sand only rocks
So I would give an overall score of 7.8
