You can’t control the iPhone camera while streaming from another mobile app. Both Shoot and the other app are using the iPhone’s camera, but if you use the zoom from the Shoot app, it doesn’t zoom in the other app. I don’t want to stream from Shoot (through OBS or other app) Another big problem: on the presentation videos it never mentions that you have to subscribe to another service: Shoot Studio - which is payable yearly or you can get it free if you purchased the Shoot Pro Webcam’s most expensive plan: Lifetime Updates - 100€.

Why would Shoot's camera remote be able to control the camera of a different app on your iPhone? This is simply not possible on iOS.Shoot's documentation makes no claims about being able to do what you want to do.It's a free download, so what's the problem with the Shoot Studio subscription? You don't have to purchase it! You can try everything for free to find out if it does what you want with no risk.

The only thing that would make this app better is if it rotated the video stream to the computer with the phone's horizontal orientation.If I keep my phone with the lightning port to the right, it shows up fine. If I put it in the phone mount with the lightning port to the left, it streams the video upside-down :))

Hi, there is an option in the Settings app to rotate the image 180º.
