This application was developed by Veterinarian Network (V-Net) for the use of participating veterinarians and their clients. The provision of veterinary herd health advisory services relies on the identification and prioritization of the most important seasonal disease problems within a specific geographical area. This can be achieved with a real time practical disease reporting system and analysis that provides a 12-month disease overview. This electronic system needs to overcome the fact that time is the limiting factor for veterinarians and farmers. The system must reduce the amount of time needed to a minimum, while giving a comprehensive picture of the disease status. Individual veterinarians attend to several sick animals per day within a specific geographical area. There is normally not enough time to capture these cases but with this practical disease reporting application, it is possible to immediately capture these cases and get an overview of disease cases for each type of livestock as well as well as the importance of each disease condition.
