ANCHOR by The Ocean Traveler is the easiest, yet most complete anchor drag alarm. Used privately by USCG OUPV Captain's since 2018, the app has just recently been offered.
Be instantly alerted by both visual and audio cues when your vessel goes outside the defined boundary. Use multiple notification devices so you can leave on device on-vessel and monitor location through alerts. WORKS OFFLINE - You do NOT need to have Internet access for this app to function, only GPS is required on device.
Vessel & Anchorage - Manage which vessels and name your anchorages for easy tracking.
Easy Setup - a simple "tap" drops your virtual anchor and then instantly begins tracking the vessel location.
Adjust Alarm Distance - setup the radius you want to allow before you receive an alert.
Track Recording - Allows you to view previous tracks when at anchor
ANCHOR by The Ocean Traveler is just one app which is offered as part of a larger suite of tools for the captain. FLOATPLAN, WAVE&TIDE and CHART are also available for additional cost
