The Vidimote upgrades for your video watching experience:
• SPEEEED: watch videos at up to 2 x original speed, finely adjustable in 5% steps. Save time watching videos - without missing out on any content. Or watch a live stream's recorded part at increased speed - until you're "back to live".
• CONTROL: jump ±10 seconds, use the position slider and - of course - play and pause.

Vidimote was written and designed to work with HTML5 web videos everywhere - and in our testing it has, including the websites of Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion, Twitch, TED.com, Udemy, Khan Academy, MagentaTV, Twitter, TikTok, Reddit, Facebook, ownCloud, Nextcloud, Dropbox, Amazon Drive, Google Drive and OneDrive.
Given the sheer number of websites out there, however, we can't guarantee that Vidimote works with every single web video out there. If you run into a video where it doesn't work, please let us know via our website's contact/support form.

Наконец-то очень полезное расширение приложение для iPad, которое исправляет неудобство браузера safari на iPad. Все время бесило, что теперь на iPad в safari видео воспроизводится не в нативном iOS плеере, а в том, который на сайте. Теперь каждый видео ролик можно смотреть в нативном видеоплеере в полноэкранном режиме в safari, еще и транслировать по airplay любой ролик. Денег за расширение вообще ни сколько не жалко. Просто спасибо большое еще раз!

Это неправда и совершенно неправильно. Кажется, вы путаете общее предупреждение, которое Safari показывает для ВСЕХ расширений Safari, с тем, что на самом деле делает наше расширение. Фактически, Vidimote НЕ собирает и не загружает какую-либо информацию. Начнем с того, что он даже не содержит никакого сетевого кода.(Google Translation of "This is not true and completely wrong. You seem to confuse the general warning that Safari shows for ALL Safari extensions with what our extension is actually doing. For a matter of fact, Vidimote does NOT collect or download any information. It doesn't even contain any network code to begin with.")

You've run into an issue Safari sometimes has with newly installed extensions. It is not specific to Vidimote, can affect any extension and can typically be fixed permanently by 1) turning the respective Safari extension off, then on again in Safari settings 2) and rebooting the iPhone right after.I'd appreciate if you could either remove or revise your 1 star review since the reason you wrote it is actually a Safari bug - and Vidimote has neither caused it, nor can it work around it. It's very easily fixable for any user, however.

Vidimote fully works on iOS 26. If you're running iPadOS 26.4, when you're using the new compact tab bar, opening ANY extension's menu will crash Safari. To work around it, please switch back Safari to the separate tab bar layout in the Setting app. This is a bug in Safari, affects all extensions and is not caused by Vidimote in any way. Beyond this, Safari can also have issues with new extensions right after they were installed. In that case, restarting Safari, disabling/reenabling the extension and - if that didn't help - rebooting the device typically fix the issue. This is not an issue of Vidimote or any other extension, however. Finally, please also verify you've given Vidimote the necessary permissions as - without these permissions - it, like any other extension, can not function.
