## Improvements --- - Natural language input continues to get more robust, able to better magically interpret many more more abstract/casual presentations of date/time. - It also won’t trip up when trying to add to a date in the future, whether next week or next year. - You can add things to “someday” now too, resulting in them being sent to your Inbox’s unscheduled list. - Leading dashes show besides live/next Agenda pills, to be consistent with other timed entries. In general, on the light theme, these should be a bit more subtle. - Menu items for your gaps should have more clear language, and more sensible ordering of items with less visual noise due to unnecessary symbols/colors. - Speed in which you’re taken to entry if you choose to add a new task/event from here should be super quick too. - Placeholder string in anytime text field on the Day view more helpful for day after tomorrow onwards: indicate how many days from today the addition will be for. - Entries on Day view slightly more compact in feel. - More compact emojis when appropriate to avoid top edge clipping, whether in Day view or on a time keyboard. - Improved appearance, position and tap target for [x more] button when there is a task overflow on Day view. Transition between toggle states improved too. - Placeholder text on add text fields reset to ”Add…” when appropriate. - Placeholder text on Unscheduled widget in Week view updates when you are in the process of adding items, and is also more succinct for 2 weeks from now and onwards. - There’s no hint of animation lag when doing so, and when you’re done, keyboard dismisses immediately. - Background changes smoothly when going into the app menu and transitioning back into the main app. - When you resume the app and the day has changed since the last session, the greeting that slides down will stay up for a more reasonable time. - Can now better tell that something is starting before the start of the hour on the Day view. - Completed task cards are no longer translucent but have a reduced opacity. - Removed unnecessary stroke on task cards for cleaner appearance. - Task cards in entry’s time keyboard appear consistent to other instances (no ghost checkmark). - Open pinned notes doesn’t have text unnecessarily animate in/out. - More descriptive strings when you have slipped items from earlier today, yesterday or last week in Anytime on your Agenda. ## Fixed --- - Natural language input will make sure interpreted strings do not end with an incorrect suffix. - When your natural language input changes an event to a task (or vice-versa), the selected calendar/list will visibly update to reflect this. - No unnecessary leading/trailing spacing when you only have unscheduled tasks for anytime today in Agenda. - Consistent space between unscheduled and scheduled entries in Agenda. - Year in progress shouldn’t momentarily flash when going from Day back to Agenda, or when toggling filters in Agenda. - No unnecessary animation on count badge on Inbox cards when navigating between them. - On the first day of a week, if you had any flex last week tasks that were not completed, they will show under slipped in your Agenda.

## Improvements --- - Natural language input gets even better by now being able to capture emoji (when at the start of the title) as well as hashtags (anywhere). Estimates are now understood too for tasks. - Additionally, it should be more versatile in general to detect dates and times irrespective of how they are typed in. - If you specify a time relatively speaking (e.g. in 30 mins), it will deduce an optimal time (i.e. minute is a multiple of 5). - Notifications for anything happening tomorrow or later will begin with the day/date to reduce confusion, and only highlights start time when dealing with something quite far away. - No unnecessary ~ besides estimate duration in entry or filters list. - Metadata associated with tasks or events now show before the title on cards for better scannability. - Tags on card should be more legible, and look more consistent across cards. - Won’t show header when there’s no events/tasks within on Day view for past days. - Text sizes increased on Day view and background colors tweaked for improved legibility/better feel. - More proportionally padded [Add/Update] button on entry. ## Fixed --- - When you select a start date in a multi-day entry, focus correctly shifts to select a start date. - If the start date you selected happens to have been the previous end date, then the end date will now automatically move to the next day. - Shouldn’t state there are slipped items from yesterday in your Agenda incorrectly (and when toggling the list on, showing nothing). - Won’t receive notifications for tasks that have been completed ahead of time. - Similarly, any items that were deleted will not have a notification incorrectly sent at any point. - Possibility of duplicate entries anywhere should be greatly reduced. - Won’t ever show a gap as the first item in your Agenda. - Also, gaps should always show between the items they’re for, and never on top. - Tapping on Agenda chart will show time in the correct position. - Emojis on regular Agenda widget will be better aligned with the proceeding text. - When Agenda widget overflows, no text should be cutoff. - Correct times should always display in entry’s time keyboard after they were set through natural language. - When you are in a fullscreen recurring task that is overdue, setting it to complete will remove overdue tag. - Should no longer see splash screen when resuming the app for the first time after a new launch. - Won’t receive notifications for cancelled events, or any you declined an invitation for.

## New --- - Natural language input is now possible in *any* entry textbox. It can currently detect dates and times mentioned in the inputted title, and convert them intelligently. We will be extending its capabilities over time so it’s able to similarly detect any other piece of metadata, such as recurrence, task estimate, energy etc. ## Improvements --- - Post-it w/ pinned items will only ever show when you have 1 or more. - +1 on Tab Bar icons after adding an entry won’t look as heavy. - Agenda chart will optimise color of colored bars (representing hours with entries) to ensure they are always visible, regardless of theme and accent. - Similarly, any text fields caret will be clearly visible regardless of theme/accent picked… and colored to accent if appropriate now. - Calendar clip will appear/disappear more smoothly, and have a nicer more subtle shadow regardless of theme or accent. - Chevron below current hour on Agenda chart should be more visible. ## Fixed --- - Rare crash on start-up when you have pinned specific items should never occur. - Offset of chevron below current time on Agenda chart will be correctly positioned regardless of screen size. - Slipped from earlier today pinned reminder won’t say ”0 days overdue” when you open up pinned items’ post-it. - When brightness is set to 100%, color picker will work correctly detecting all changes as you drag between options. - Wrong background color won’t ever show when you open custom color picker. - Brightness dial should look full when it says 100%. - Post-it won’t jump when you are in split-screen, and either tap into a card or open entry. - Toast notification won’t show in split-screen. - When Agenda widget is full, there won’t be an unnecessary top gap. - Agenda widget shouldn’t incorrectly not load stating calendar permission denied. - When going back to Agenda from Week, there should be no issues: 1) date should be correct and 2) calendar clip should come back without any visual issues.

## New --- - Subscriptions now have family sharing turned on. ## Improvements --- - Editing an item — regardless of where you trigger an edit from — should open up the entry interface just as fast as when you hit [+]. - When you leave split-screen calendar mode, earlier today won’t visibly scroll up during the transition back to default. - When you receive a notification for an event that is happening tomorrow or later, this will be clearly communicated. Previously, regardless of event date, they all looked like an alert for something happening today. - Calendar weeks have reduced vertical spacing between rows only when necessary: on a smaller phone + on a month with 6 weeks displayed. - Improved removal transition of section when you finish all your anytime tasks for the day. - When you [Schedule] items in your Inbox, cards will jiggle and have a draggable symbol cue too… similar to doing so from anytime today in your Agenda. - Inbox count at the top animates nicely when you [Schedule] items. - Nicer gear icon for settings on the Focus (timer) screen, and also a bit higher up away from core UI. - Keyboard doesn’t unnecessarily bounce when adding items to anytime on the Day view. - Consistent spacing below anytime today toggles and items on Agenda. - Faster open/close of anytime tasks too. - Tap target on concurrent live entries in Focus much better. - Transition when toggling list on Focus much nicer. - Consistent trailing padding for [Schedule] on Inbox cards compared to task cards within. - Energy keyboard responds to taps too now (and doesn’t require a drag). Tap on the top left app menu, and then ”Everything” for more details and to proceed with a purchase. ## Improvements --- - No keyboard bounce when you are adding tasks to top of mind on your Agenda for today. - When adding via top of mind on Agenda, the unscheduled list does not expand into view if it was collapsed. Instead you get a subtle animation to confirm entry success and indicating where the item lives. - On a similar note, there’s no toast notification when this occurs because it was considered as an unnecessary distraction. Too many things going on is unhelpful/overwhelming. - Several crash fixes for improved overall stability. - Calendar pulldown layout optimised for smaller and bigger screen sizes (less or more vertical spacing between week rows). - [Reset] button in Focus less faded out when in a disabled state. - Expanding/collapsing anytime tasks on today’s Agenda should feel better. - Subtle fade on leading/trailing edges of anytime tasks when there are multiple toggles. - Improved count animation when anytime tasks change, and the count is more prominent in general. - Faster transition when you [Schedule] anytime today tasks. - Unscheduled week tasks have bigger text size. - Adding to an unscheduled week will add it to the top. - No keyboard bounce here either. - […] menu distinguishes today and tomorrow for unscheduled week tasks, and adds a “Next week” option too. - Expanding/collapsing overflow tasks on a Day view will be more snappy with no transition issues. - Improved haptics when customising accent color/brightness level. - Pinned task that’s completed will be crossed out on post-it. - Drag visual cue on task cards when you [Schedule] anytime tasks for today. - Past and future dates from the previous/next month on the Month widget have a more faint appearance than dates form current month. ## Fixed --- - Doesn’t say “Not energy set” on energy keyboard when no value set. - If you are scheduling tasks for the day, and have moved your post-it to a custom location, when dragging over a day or week, the post-it won’t be visible. - Settings should not be overly stretched ever, regardless of display settings. - No Agenda chart UI clips underneath calendar clip when the current hour is midnight.

## New --- - We originally shipped with eight accent colors. We had thought about adding more options to pick from, but we decided what would be best is if we allowed you to pick *any* color: use our intuitive new color picker to select any accent color. To have made the wait worth it, we’ve also made optimisations so that if you decide to go with a color theme, everything will look good regardless of color picked. - On a similar note, we’re aware our italicised font — used most visibly on the Agenda’s calendar bookmark clip — isn’t to everyone’s taste. So, in Settings, you now have new options to pick from that are less opinionated: condensed, standard and round. Changing to any of these does impact the app’s overall feel, so hopefully there is one that suits you. - Previously, you could start a timer for an estimated task only. For those ad-hoc scenarios when a timer (focus!) is required, you can now long-press on the [+] and select “Start a timer”. Doing so asks you to select a timer duration before you’re taken to Focus mode. From here, it works the same as previous sessions linked to an actual task. - The long-pressed [+] also gives additional options for the type of entry you wish to add, so it pre-populates the entry form accordingly. ## Improvements --- - Small tweaks to the initial onboarding screen to make it a little more playful. - Transition between themes if you press on the discreet [Good _____] button should be nicer. - Timer text size reduced only if length is 100 mins or above. - More clear strings to describe background options for Focus. - Live activity will appear much quicker when leaving the app during a Focus session. - Multi-line tasks in Inbox will have their checkbox aligned to top of card. ## Fixed --- - When incrementing 60 mins on timer, slider should continue to function always. - Opening a fullscreen card should have all its elements be immediately tappable. - No overrun of title text on Focus session beyond a single line. - Can now drag end time to be before 1am on time keyboard edits. - Shouldn’t have the editable slot on a time keyboard to suddenly become disabled after changes. - When you background out of the app when in Focus mode, when you resume, time remaining should be correct. - Border on task cards on Day view as well as week entry on Agenda. - [Stop] on live activity for a Focus session should work again. - Hitting [Rewind] in Focus after resuming the app will correctly reset the clock. - No event not found error message when opening notification related to a focus timer finishing. - Going into overtime, or adding more time, at the end of a Focus timer session will work correctly.

## New --- - New option in top-right of Focus to select its wallpaper. ## Improvements --- - Adding time, or going into overtime, in Focus once the timer is up will not have started the clock before you’ve confirmed a choice. - Changing start time on time keyboard by tapping on it will preserve event length. - Changing from a list (task) to calendar (event) will preserve the date you had selected in entry. - Tapping anywhere on the chart on top of Agenda will briefly reveal the time on the point you touched. - You can now once again swipe to dismiss fullscreen cards, except we’re now following system convention by accepting an leading edge dismiss. - Cleaned up empty states in Discover. ## Fixed --- - When you go into overtime in Focus, time will be displayed correctly. - When you add time after the Focus timer is up, time will be displayed correctly. - Tap targets on monthly calendar widget will work as expected. - If app resumes in a new day, and you were previously on the Day or Week views, it will know to move to the next day (or week if you have entered a new week). - Choosing delete or delegate on an Eisenhower entry will fix the correct slot. - When switching from a color theme to non-color, entry keyboards should update and not retain their color theme. - Potential fix for when you hit [Back to top] mid-animation scroll on Agenda and it doesn’t register. - Post-it will be positioned correctly when on Week view and calendar pulled down to its compact state.

## Improvements --- ### Focus - To reduce any confusion (and keep things simple), live events in Focus mode don’t have any interactive controls: the time simply counts down to its finish. The ability to manipulate the timer is only available for tasks. - When in deep focus, you can tap anywhere to toggle timer active state. - Accessing a live estimated task in Focus will prompt you on whether you want to reset the timer to the original full estimate. - Accessing a live task that’s not estimated will ask you whether you want to set a timer for it. - Transition into Focus should be nicer whether you enter in deep focus or not. - No references to focus session anymore — keep it simple: it’s a timer! - Text below focused entry will show appropriate text based on whether you are accessing a live entry or not. - Nicer transition of timer clock. - When you are in Focus, screen won’t turn off. --- - Estimated tasks that are happening now will show remaining time on their fullscreen card. - Estimated tasks with a reminder set on Agenda view will show their end time. - If they’re live, you will get a live line run through it too indicating how much time to go, similar to live events. You will have access to their [Notes] via a single tap too. - In-app toasts slide in more smoothly. - Post-it pinned notes will have an optimal size/text spacing based on number of entries it holds. - Dragging the top area via calendar clip won’t be a struggle anymore: it will follow your finger movement. - The view picker should be more visible when there’s content underneath. - Emoji on entries in the month calendar widget should not break layout alignment. - On the time keyboard you can drag/drop over any time (previously, nearby minute intervals where inaccessible, including the time within event start/end time). - Won’t get a misleading visible cue that you can drop on a past time when you hover over. - Notes on a fullscreen event card should show instantly with no scrolling issues. - More start-up optimisations to prevent crashing. ## Fixed --- - Month calendar widget days of week start on a Monday. - Cold-launching the app from month calendar widget’s day pane will not result in navigation issues. - Pausing the timer in Focus when you are in overflow should show correct time. - [+] shouldn’t get clipped on regular sized widget even when there’s an overflow of items. - No reference to a rogue [Auto] button when you open the split-screen scheduler for the first time. - All in-app toast notifications will be bottom padded consistently (not too close to a notch). - Live tasks won’t ever show as overdue. - [In x mins] aligned horizontally same as other buttons such as [Live] on Agenda view. - Live activity for Focus won’t have title text run over two lines. - When you enter a new day, app should be resilient and not crash when you resume into (or if you were on the app at the time too). - Chevron indicating time now on Agenda chart should be positioned correctly on bigger devices (Max). - Transition of notification when app updated should work again.

Long time! We are hard at work on our iOS 17 update, but before then, some important fixes first: ## Improvements --- - [Live] badge won’t show on the fullscreen card for a completed task. ## Fixed --- - Pinned events that have passed will no longer show on your post-it. - Won’t crash on start-up if you had pinned a task that you have completed. - This week’s week number is not faded on a calendar if we’re past the first day of the week. - Also, it has a button appearance too on the date keyboard. - Cancelling a reminder from the split-screen scheduler should restore it to its original state/position. - Shouldn’t incorrectly show nothing on your calendar for today (live) when you have a reminder for a task that was for a previous hour but whose estimate extends beyond the current time (including into the next day).

(*This will be improved further in a future update so 1) it acknowledges the changes when you’re in timing on your phone and you make the change on another device, and 2) if you make any change — not just title or checked — to a task*) - Any in-app notifications should be harder to miss because they now slide over the top area. - Selected start/end time will animate in sync with the card slot when its height (duration) is being changed. - Tapping on an empty time on time keyboard will instantly show the slot there (and not animate parts of it in, and show other parts immediately for an unpolished effect). - When you remove the selected time from time keyboard, re-activation slots will be sized the same as in their default state. - Using system confirmation dialogs for all delete actions resulting in better performance and ergonomics. ## Fixed --- - When you tap on a pill on a fullscreen card to see its filtered results, the filters section will allow you to add filters from other groups. Also, maybe more importantly, the section is no longer permanently locked to the group of the filter you tapped on. - Switching to Week view won’t auto-scroll you to the top of Agenda causing a momentary flash when you transition. - Existing tasks will show on time keyboard.

## New --- - The suggestions — we call them accelerators — on entry’s time keyboard are much more helpful: you can increment the start time by minute and hourly intervals. Repeated presses will work just as you expect them too. ## Improvements --- - When you select an entry to be all-day, you are now kept on the time keyboard from where you can set an alert and recurring status. - You can now [x] all-day from completed fields list to change it to an anytime task. - Tapping on the [All day] label will take you to the time keyboard (same now too for [Anytime]). - Time field is ticked when you set an event to be all-day. - Multi-day is now a more clear toggle on the date keyboard. Turning it on will update bar above to reflect the selection required. - Toggling multi-day on will always set focus to its start date. - Year in progress circles correctly sized on smaller devices, and generally look nicer too with better distinction between completed and incomplete circles. - Consistent sized dividers between options on suggestions bar in entry keyboard (and no unnecessary one after the last item). - You can now go to previous/next month on the date keyboard (top title area here now consistent with the time’s with improved focus on title via centred alignment). - When two entries start less than 15 minutes within one another then they won’t be displayed adjacent to each other on the Day view, e.g. an event that ends at 9pm and second that starts at this time, will show vertically stacked (and no longer horizontally). This should mean you don’t incorrectly assume the two overlap in time. - Switching between filter groups should transition more nicely. - Toggling filters on/off should be super quick. - More bottom padding for app menu to ensure support icon set not too close to edge of smaller sized screens. - More improved transitions between entry keyboards. - Performance improvements across the board. - All date keyboards’ title area are consistent in terms of layout and year formatting. - More clear button affordance on the start/end time on time keyboard. - Event card slot on time keyboard offseted the same as when a reminder slot, closest to bar above, and top/bottom aligned horizontally with start/end times. - No unnecessary condensing of font on Discovery given space is not limited to warrant use. - Offset of event card when fast editing its time should be correct. - Faster exit transition when collapsing anytime tasks for the day. - When deleting an entry, UI from top animates in. - No wonky auto-scrolling that jumps you up when the time set for an entry is changed to 8pm onwards. ## Fixed --- - All filter groups’ buttons are consistently sized. - De-selected appearance for filter groups consistent for calendar and inbox sheets (i.e. makes selected group appearance more prominent). - Tapping on a card in the Day view should animate into fullscreen adaptation and vice-versa when exiting. - If an event is 15 mins long, height of card on Day view should reflect this. - Won’t show date/time toggle on date keyboard sheet when rescheduling all-day event (will bring it back in the future and make sure it works fine then). - Alert menu on time keyboard doesn’t use the label Alarm inside. - Title on time keyboard doesn’t obstruct 00:00 when you scroll to the very top of the day. - Toggling off multi-day will not reset entry to be an all-day event. - Can scroll to the trailing edge on suggestions bar in entry. - All-day text on Day view in correct color. - When you are scheduling from the Inbox, returning to Agenda shouldn’t have your anytime tasks open and in jiggle mode. - When returning to Agenda and filters are up, the wrong date will not show. - When you are fast editing the time of a week task, tapping on a free time won’t lead to any issues: anytime week task should become a reminder for the day instantly. - Toolbar above card immediately appears when you do this.

## New - When the app has been updated to the latest version since the last app launch, you will be notified with a message at top that links you to the changelog. ## Improvements - [Add] has a more visible disabled appearance in entry. - Improved transition when toggling between calendar pulldown states. - Improved reliability after obscure crash fixes. - Much faster feeling transitioning in/out of calendar pulldown states, as well as when toggling with filters. - Calendar clip should transition better back to its regular state from split-screen mode. - Smoother transition between days when calendar pulldown is active. - Copy used to describe days without any activity distinguishes between past and future days. - Tapping on a week number in the calendar pulldown when on the Week view should select the week. - Navigating to the app menu should be a cleaner transition with all elements moving in harmony, and the menu’s background not sliding in. - Increased bottom padding for bottom set of buttons on app menu (not too close to bottom edge of smaller devices) and also increased prominence too. - Whatever state the calendar pulldown was on last will be restored on the next open (so if you were on the week view, and closed it, the next open will open to the week view). - Added [Skip] button to onboarding. - Filters onboarding card uses new icons and should animate elements in a more satisfactory manner. - Pulling a fullscreen card down to collapse should be more satisfactory. - App menu has improved, more descriptive copy for the secondary options. ## Fixed --- - Correct trailing padding for [Add] button in entry. - When you close the calendar pulldown, you won’t be taken back to earlier today. - Going back to top (today) should always work. - If app launches with calendar pulldown expanded, today should appear selected. - First card in split-screen mode should be tappable. - Days of week in calendar week pulldown should not temporarily disappear if you tap a card below. Similarly, so shouldn’t the chevron in the bottom middle. - Calendar pulldown when you’re on the Week view should default on the correct page when the current week ends in the next month. As a result, it should behave correctly when you interact with it. - Calendar pulldown should not cover bar chart on the Week view. - Correct leading and trailing paddings for action buttons when scheduling your anytime tasks for the day. - Event cards on time keyboard sheet should not bleed offscreen. - Creating an event from a gap on today’s agenda should work by defaulting to your primary calendar. - If you were on the Week view with a week (compact) calendar pulldown, next app open will re-open to this state. - No crash/hang when app opens with a calendar pulldown open and you try to navigate to the Day view. - Entry’s onboarding card doesn’t have excess background over any of its bars. - If the calendar pulldown is expanded, you tapped into a card and then closed it, the pulldown should remain in whatever state it was always.

## New --- - App icon updates to reflect a change in app accent colour. - A lot of subtle but important changes to entry: - Gone is the circle menu on the right of the title field. The previous [Unscheduled] pill has become a menu that clarifies where you are saving the entry to. You can effortlessly switch between adding to a list or calendar from here. - The order in which pills appear in the completed fields list matches the order in which they were added. As a result, you’re always scrolled to the latest addition at the trailing end. Alerts and recurring when set will display descriptively, similar to other fields. - Much smoother transitions between all the different fields. It shouldn’t feel like it jumps a lot anymore. - Setting an alert or repeat rules are much more discoverable now in the time keyboard. There should be more alert intervals to pick from too. Expect similar expansion of recurring options in a near future update. - CTA copy on [Save] changed to more familiar/modern [Add] and [Update]. - And a lot more considerate touches to make it feel cleaner and less overwhelming. ## Improvements --- - Top area refreshed to be more compact. - Chart more clearly highlights the current hour/now. - Slight tweaks to app icon. - Replaced the email icon with a share icon on the app menu to reflect its action. - Text fields for entry input on Day, Agenda and Week views will be more responsive regardless of where you tap to capture focus. - When scheduling from Agenda, the name of the day that the time keyboard is for will be displayed. - Transitioning in/out scheduling mode on Agenda should be much smoother. - [x] on fullscreen cards no longer uses a red that’s associated with a destructive action. ## Fixed --- - Appearance of cards on Week view should be consistent whether populated or in an empty state. - You will only be able to invite people if you are creating an event inside a Google calendar (sorry!). Previously it would appear the invitations were sent when they were not. You will now be communicated this inability. We hope to extend support to other calendars in time. - Icons in the support area of the app menu are now consistently sized. - Deleting anything will update the grid for the Day view they were in. - When switching between month and week calendar pulldowns, the correct set of dates will show. - Correct week calendar will show when the pulldown is made compact on the Week view. - Toggle on the calendar pulldown will always correctly reflect the current state it’s in. - When on the app menu, Day and Week views will not be interactive — tapping on them will just bring them back into view. - The day or week you are on will not reset back to today/this week if you had navigated to another day/week, had the keyboard up for entry and then dismissed it. - Anytime week tasks will not show on a Sunday on the Week view. - Title text for date keyboard consistent with time’s (and calendar pulldown’s). - If you delete anything from their fullscreen card, then open another’s, closing it will not prompt you on deleting it. - Colors on Day and Week views in dark mode corrected. - [Schedule] in Agenda not black text in dark mode. - Task input area on Agenda doesn’t jump when you tap on any Anytime toggle. - Switching from a calendar to list in entry will retain start time. - When removing the time for a reminder, if you had selected a non-default reminders list, it will be retained. - Multi-date selection appearance of dates works. - When you change an event to a task for the week, should change from a calendar to list. - Changing value of an alert when fast editing on an event’s time keyboard will update it correctly (previously you also needed to change the time for the alert changes to be saved too). - You can scroll to 11pm on Day view when you have the calendar pulled down from top in either compact or expanded states.

## New --- - The top bar has been refreshed to be more compatible with platform conventions as well as meet general expectations for a smoother onboarding. This encompasses a few things: - The system status bar is permanently visible. - The menu button is universally accessible, and in a more conventional top-left location. As a result, options pop in from the left too in a refreshed appearance. - Screen titles are now center-aligned. - Opening up the calendar from the top has a discoverable icon on the right. You can still tap on the title or drag from anywhere too. - As a result of these changes, the ability to [Schedule] your anytime tasks for today, or your unschedule/slipped items in the Inbox have in-line actions to activate the mode. Confirming this action via [Done] is within the content area too, in the style/position iOS users would be generally accustomed to. - State saving of views across the UX. The motivation was to *silently* accommodate your preferences as well as to facilitate picking up where you left off. So, for example, if your preferred calendar view is the Day, then the app will resume there. Here is the full list of areas whose states are saved: - Last tab you were on - Last view you were on in each tab - Last group on filters you were on on both tabs - Last state of top bar (collapsed, week or month) We’ll monitor feedback before determining which of the above (if any) require their own settings so you can explicitly define/override these for a new app launch. Let us know what you think and how it feels currently. ## Improvements --- - Improved overall stability so to significantly reduce the possibility of a memory leak resulting in a crash. - Size of keyboard in split-screen scheduling mode should be consistent across the iOS device family, and never take too much/little space. - Transition out of calendar selection sheet should be smoother. - When you have filters open, tapping on its icon will clear all your filters (you don’t need to go through them one-by-one anymore). Previously this would collapse the filters but keep them active. Based on user feedback, there was sometimes confusion on how to clear them, and as there was little demand for having the ability to have filters active but its UI collapsed, we think this is the right move for most. ## Fixed --- - Crash fixes when on Day or Week calendar views, as well as on a time (entry) keyboard. Wouldn’t happen much, but what was causing them before should no longer happen. - Top bar should become draggable again when you return to Calendar from Inbox. - When you add an entry through Discover, the next time you open an entry session, it should pre-populate the title field with the name of what you last added through Discover. - When you mark a task as complete from its system notification, the app should pick up this state change immediately. - When you change your selected calendars, this should be reflected in your schedule for what’s remaining today. - If you were on the Day or Week views, move to the Inbox and then hit [+], it should not pre-populate a date. - When you have navigated to a previous/upcoming week/month on the calendar pulldown and press [Back to today], the calendar should update.

Improvements: - Changes to "fast entry" to make default dates/times more contextually relevant when editing. - Opening/closing the calendar via "pull down" is now smoother + larger tap targets. - Tweaks to the "filter" icon to make it obvious when in open state. - Allow scrolling to the very bottom on any "hero" cards. - Minor padding, font-size, height tweaks.

Been a productive week! A lot of improvements & fixes in this update. ## Improvements - When you set a reminder for a task today that 1) you’ve estimated and 2) it’s before another entry, its estimate will be considered when evaluating how much time you have between task completion and the next entry. - A reminder for an estimated task will appear as [Live] for the duration of time it was estimated for (and not disappear after the minute its reminder was set for is up). - When searching, you will now only see dates with results (if any). It will default its search for the next 90 days (new time range), but can be extended to the next 365 (another addition). - Search should be in better focus as a result of content area being dimmed when its input field is in an active state. - The filters panel should feel cleaner, and less overwhelming due to text/color refinements, more clear copy, as well as introduction of icons for each group. - Smoother transition in/out filtering mode. - Placeholder text for Anytime’s field on the Day view differentiates between today, tomorrow and further ahead. - When re-scheduling a reminder for an overdue task using the time entry sheet, you’ll see a [Set a reminder] button to make the change quickly (and not need to drag the card to perform the action). This will default to the time of the original reminder if we still have not passed the time today, but if we have, it will be set to come up imminently. - When setting a reminder for a task set for anytime in a week using the time entry sheet, it will default to today (if for this week) or the first day of the week if for next week or later. - Tap target area to [Set a reminder] covers the entire button on the time entry sheet. - Keyboard when inline editing title on a fullscreen event or task uses the correct [Done] return key. - Copy text on input for Unscheduled card on the Week view recognises what week it is for, and uses distinct copy to differentiate between this week, next and any later. - […] menu for slipped unscheduled items for past weeks on Week view provides appropriate options to reschedule. - Empty state on Unscheduled card on Week view for past weeks clearly communicated. - Placeholder text on text field at the top of Agenda now distinguishes clearly between all times of day: mornings, afternoons and evenings. And it waves when more appropriate too :) - Above text field is more distinct in appearance, so you know it’s interactive (same with similar text field on the Week view’s Unscheduled card). - Line breaks in end of day strings for a better read. ## Fixed - No fields should go missing in entry from the bar. One user had reported their Eisenhower field had disappeared entirely: both from the bar as well as customisation sheet. This sort of thing should not happen for anyone moving forward. - Time text alignment and card heights for reminders/gaps should be consistent for today. - When you are adding a task on Day view, and scroll to dismiss keyboard, it will now be auto-dismissed. Same applies to the Week view. - Potential crash fix that occurs rarely when going into the Week view. - Disabled ability to swipe on Views as this was sometimes leading to a crash. - Size of cards in Anytime header on the Day view, as well as left hand alignment of labels consistent. - No editable field to add to Anytime for a past day. - When re-scheduling a reminder for an overdue task, it defaults the time entry sheet to today. The fact it previously wasn’t (and was defaulting to the original overdue date) was leading to issues, most extremely the card disappearing in an interaction. - Can’t add or edit an entry to occur in a past time. - Cancelling a reminder via [x] on the time entry sheet will work, and set the task to be anytime for the day it was due. - Changing a reminder to an event (or vice-versa) on the time entry sheet should work without any issues. ## Improvements --- - Interacting with search for calendar/inbox should be a more pleasant experience: tapping into it should auto-focus text field and transitions between states should be fluid. - More concise and descriptive strings will display on top left whenever you add an item. - Nicer count symbol for emojis on the Week view. - When you have no meetings for the week, it will clearly state so on the Week view. - Tasks sorted by incomplete first on Day view. - When you have a lot of emojis on the Week view, it’s more clear that you can scroll to see all. ## Fixed --- - Originally slipped reminders that have been completed should not show in today’s anytime section (for slipped earlier) anymore. - [+x] button when you have more than 1 all-day event sized the same as card to its left. - Button presses on Anytime buttons less pronounced. - Spacing between filter groups in Inbox now consistent. - Adding an event to your calendar via Discover shouldn’t lead to any issues when opening up an entry session afterwards. - No $0 value should be incorrectly added to items after they are edited (and more precisely have a custom field other than value added). - UI shouldn’t be broken on smaller screens w/ large display zoom set. - Rest of today isn’t presented as free if you have a slipped reminder. - Tomorrow isn’t presented as free if you have a task/reminder set. - When in-line editing an entry’s time, color of entry’s title on time keyboard sheet should not be white on white. - No duplicate task card on time keyboard when editing its time. - Potential crash fix during onboarding when reaching step on entry.

Welcome Product Hunters – We've fully revamped our onboarding to help you better understand the mechanics of the app. We've also added an all-new Week summary view (in the Calendar view) and a new way Discover things to add to your schedule (in the Inbox view).
