tldr: looks cool, but if you’re looking for a prettier Cmd+Tab/AltTab, this isn’t it.—Cool design, and the haptics feel nice. Visually, my only nitpick might be that I wish I could configure the size of the pie, the default is a little to small for my taste. Now onto the functionality…Personally, quick/comfortable app switching should be all about the keyboard. Right now the app isn’t optimized for keyboard use, because it takes two steps to begin to cycle through apps: first hitting the hotkey, then moving your hand to either the arrow keys or the mouse (because the arrow keys don’t always work for some reason).IMO the app can’t compete with good old Cmd+Tab without the following features:1. Being able to override the default Cmd+Tab switcher. I suppose Store apps can’t do that, idk. Most users will just keep hitting Cmd+Tab out of sheer muscle memory.2. Being able to navigate clockwise by continuing to hit Tab. To go counterclockwise, Shift+Tab.3. Releasing the modifier key should switch me to the selected app (initial option being the second-most recently used app).Plus, spoiled users of Alt+Tab like myself might also expect the following features:- being able to minimize/close/quit the actively selected app using hotkeys (M/W/Q respectively while continuing to hold down the modifier key)- being able to visually distinguish apps with no actively open window- selecting an app w/ no actively open windows should re-open the window rather than forcing the user to do it manuallyUnfortunately I regret the purchase for the time being.
