[About the Developer & Open Source Commitment]
I am a high school student with a deep passion for computer technology.
The original intention behind developing this app was simply that I was tired of the expensive and crippled AI software on the market. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands and build the ultimate client for my daily-use Mac and Apple Watch.
Due to the extremely high Apple Developer annual fee, the App Store version charges a symbolic fee. Consider it a crowdfunding effort to help me pay off the debt, while you buy the convenience of not having to compile and tinker with it yourself.
But technology should be shared; open source is my bottom line. The complete source code of ETOS LLM Studio (over 88,000 lines) is fully open-sourced on GitHub under the GPLv3 license. If you are also a geek who loves tinkering, you are completely free to pull the code, compile, and install it yourself for free.
