No command that changes your scooter is ever sent. - isinwheel S9 Pro, iScooter i8M / i9M / i10 / E9 Pro, Circooter S1, Kugoo V5 Pro and Zamelux T4: speed, battery, voltage and more - EVERCROSS, HALO ROVER, KuKirin and Mega Motion NIU KQi is recognised now too. It still can't be read, because NIU keeps the data behind its own account check, but the app names your scooter and says why instead of leaving it out of the scan. FIXED Hiboy, Pure Electric, Apollo and VMAX connect: with the scooter's display set to mph, speed, trip and odometer read too low. 20 mph showed as 12. They now follow the display's own unit. First of all, thank you for the reports and messages you keep sending: several of the scooters above are here because an owner took the time to send one. NEW SCOOTERS A whole platform arrives at once: Hiboy S2 and S2 Pro, Pure Electric Air, Apollo City, Pro and Air, and VMAX connect. Five badges, one protocol underneath. Plus the VMAX VX2 Gear and the Swagtron Swagger 5. Dashboard only for now: speed, battery, voltage, current, temperatures and trip distance. 5th Wheel scooters are recognised too. They run a controller the app already knew and was turning away on its name alone. Current Segway-Ninebot models (ZT3 Pro, E3, F3, Max G3) will not say anything until they have been paired, and the app now does that pairing. Press the scooter's power button when prompted, or, if you have already paired with the Segway app, paste the password it holds. This is the first release to attempt it, so if it doesn't work on yours, the feedback form is one tap away. More of Xiaomi's current generation are found and identified in a scan instead of being ignored. Reading those live needs a handshake that isn't finished, and the app tells you that rather than connecting and coming back with nothing. A SCOOTER TAB Tuning, speed-limit help, community links and the connection controls have left Settings for a tab of their own. It opens with where your scooter actually stands: five levels, from Fully supported down to Not supported, so you know what to expect before tapping anything. Supported Scooters in Settings uses the same scale. The speed limit section answers the question in your scooter's own numbers instead of a wall of prose. And it points you at the forum or subreddit that actually covers your model. For most of these brands, the community knows things no protocol document does. ALSO NEW Units match your region the first time you open the app, instead of defaulting to metric. Regen level is shown where your scooter reports it. The feedback form can attach your scooter's brand, model and firmware. It's off unless you turn it on, and it lists every line before it sends. Some controls have gone, because they were never real. MiniRobot volume was a flag for a control that doesn't exist, and Power Off now appears only on Xiaomi, where the command is confirmed. MiniRobot's range tileh is what the scooter was reporting all along. The scan report is better at telling a phone, a laptop or a sm, so fewer of your neighbours' devices end up in a report you send us.

New scooters. Navee ST3 and ST3 Pro. Minimotors controllers: Dualtron, VSETT, Kaabo and Apollo Phantom. Xiaomi's current generation: 4 Pro 2nd Gen, 4 Lite 2nd Gen, Elite, 5 and 6, identified on connect with model and firmware. Segway-Ninebot E-series scooters (E2, E22, E25, E45) are now recognised. Navee and Minimotors are dashboard only for now: the app reads them and never writes to them, and neither is confirmed on real hardware yet, so a reading that can't be right is hidden rather than shown as fact. Scooter not recognised? Identify reads that one device in detail so we can add support for it. It only reads and never sends a command. The scan report is two steps now: choose what your phone saw, then say what your scooter is. Untick anything before it goes. Headphones, watches and cars are filtered out for you. Just tell us. Settings → Feedback opens a form for a bug report or a feature request. It works with Bluetooth off, needs no scooter, and sends only what you type plus the app and OS versions. Diagnostics from any scooter. Settings → Diagnostics has an Always Allow Reports switch, and the app asks once after a ride whether it may keep offering them. Off by default, still anonymous, and you always see exactly what a report contains before it is sent. Also new: fault codes explained in plain language, with a severity you can see without relying on colour. GPS fills in speed on scooters that report everything except speed. Each brand has its own colour on the scanner. Supported Scooters is grouped by what the app can do with each model. Fixes: in imperial units the gauge maximum and the dial now agree. E-Wheels temperatures below zero read as negative, and its odometer no longer shows a firmware version. A Segway-Ninebot lights button that never controlled the lights has been removed. Reconnecting no longer drops the new session. Xiaomi replies split across Bluetooth packets are reassembled, so serial number and firmware version appear on M365 firmwares that split them. A rate-limited report no longer tells you to check your connection.

What's New in 1.1 Segway-Ninebot G30 and G2 Encrypted-firmware models are now recognised and connect over the encrypted transport automatically. This one is still marked In Progress: it's implemented and unit-tested, but not yet confirmed on a real G30. If you have one, we'd love to hear how it goes. Now in your language ScooterDash speaks German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch and Portuguese. Pick a language in Settings. Beta Tuning Write settings back to your scooter: cruise control on or off, and regenerative braking strength. It's experimental, so it sits behind a consent screen that explains what can go wrong before you touch anything. Speed limits are deliberately read-only for now. See what each mode is capped at The drive-mode picker now shows the real speed cap for Eco, Normal and Sport, read straight from your scooter. Fixes • A locked M365 could show as "Unlocked" on the dashboard, fixed • More reliable pairing: clearer messages when a handshake fails, and working keys are no longer thrown away • Removed a headlight button on the M365 that never did anything • Various protocol-decoding and Bluetooth reliability improvements
