TIDES, FOR THE FIRST TIME • Real tide predictions for 4,579 stations from NOAA and DFO. On most of the US and Canadian coast the tide is the first thing that decides your day, and the forecast now says which way the water is going. BUILT OUT FOR LAKES • Freshwater rules for a dozen more states, resolved to the water you actually tapped — size limits and closed seasons read from the agency that governs that lake, not the loosest number available. • Lakes without records of their own now show what agencies recorded nearby, labelled as exactly that. • The lake card opens instantly instead of waiting on a download. BAIT & TACKLE TACTICS • Every species now carries real tactics: which bait, which rig, what depth, what hour. FITS WHERE YOU FISH • Shorter setup — one question fewer, and the species list is right before you answer anything. • Feet, inches and your device's 12/24-hour clock. FIXES & SPEED • Freezes on the map and spot list are gone, and the fishing-area calculation is much faster. • Rain is back in the conditions grid, and the dark/light setting now applies everywhere. • You can redeem a promo code from Profile.

The app now works in the United States and Canada — and it now works on lakes and rivers, not just at sea. • United States and Canada: fishing scores, species lists and spots along both coasts, the Gulf and the Great Lakes. • Lakes, reservoirs and rivers: over 120,000 waters. Open one and you get its own conditions, its measured water temperature, and the species that actually live in it. • Tides are live: hourly predictions from 4,579 NOAA and DFO stations. • Tap any conditions card — wind, waves, current, pressure, temperature, moon — for an hour-by-hour chart, a table with the fishing verdict for every hour, and a small map of that reading around you. • The rules where you fish: minimum sizes, closed seasons and bag limits, each shown with the agency it comes from. The catch board no longer shows a fish you cannot legally keep that day. • Sharper species ranking: each fish is now judged at the depth it actually holds and against its own water-temperature band, and regional species lists were rebuilt from agency survey data. • Much faster: the map and the spots screen no longer freeze while conditions load, and the wind and current animation is off the main thread. • Picking a spot: a pin dropped on land now snaps to the nearest water, and the depth and spot type in the picker are finally correct. • Dozens of smaller fixes across the forecast table, spot cards and the catch log.

The logbook got a thorough pass. • You can delete a catch. Open a record and tap "Delete catch" — it is removed from the Yakala board too. • Correct a saved catch afterwards: species, count, weight and bait. The correction reaches the board straight away. • Switching between count and kilograms now works properly, and the amount you entered is no longer lost. • New pickers for weight and length — drag to set them, no keyboard. • Bait is now chosen from a list: lures, natural, live and freshwater baits, 57 options. A bait you type yourself stays in your own logbook and is not shown to anyone else. • Fishing days can be edited: place name, fishing type, notes, and the catches logged that day. • My Spots: removing a spot no longer deletes your catches — they keep their place, and you can add the spot back whenever you like. • The "My Spots" lists in the Spots tab and the Yakala tab now match each other. • Add several spots at once from the Yakala tab. • Coastal spots are no longer mislabelled as lakes or reservoirs. • Fixed the total weight on the leaderboard.

This release makes Balık Yakala both smarter and easier to read. WIDGETS & LIVE ACTIVITY • Home Screen widgets: today's score, the peak hour and your latest catches, without opening the app. • Fishing Session Live Activity: follow your session from the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. FRESHWATER FISHING • 990+ reservoirs and lakes are now on the map as spots. • A freshwater species catalog — carp, pike, perch, trout and more. • A dedicated conditions screen for freshwater spots, plus an inland legal-limits card. READABILITY • Small, faded gray text is gone across the app — higher contrast and larger type everywhere.

How To Catch guide rewritten • Tackle details are metric across all 101 species: rod length in cm, line diameter in mm and PE, weights in grams. No more ft and lb. • Rigs are now matched to the species: LRF, sabiki, spin, bottom, slow-pitch jig, trolling, squid (eging), float and trap. Separate advice for shore and boat. • Bait names cleaned up; artificial lures are now clearly labelled. Fixes • The app now opens in Turkish automatically for users whose phone language is Turkish. • Fixed unreadable text in dark mode (onboarding screens, notification preview, weather and sea card). • The Now tab refreshes by itself when you change your location — no pull to refresh needed. • Tapping a search result in Select Location now works on the first try. • The Meras tab is noticeably faster and the map scrolls smoothly. • Removed the large title on the Meras tab to make room for the list.

Turkey's fishing spots are here. 640 spots compiled from 27 coastal provinces are now in the app. Breakwaters, river mouths, rocky headlands, fishing harbours — each filed with its structure, target fish, and season. • Turkey map — see every spot on one screen, tap one, open its detail. • Per-spot forecast — that exact point's weather, sea, and best fish right now, computed with the same engine as the Now tab. • Favourites — the spots you fish most, listed with live scores. • Directions — one tap to Apple Maps or Google Maps. • Add your own spot — tap the map, name it, done. • Feedback — mark what you liked, or report anything wrong. If a location is off, you can drop a pin on the correct one. Also: out-of-season species no longer top the ranking, and you can jump straight from a spot to a fish's heatmap.

In this update: • The Now tab now refreshes itself automatically. Even if you leave the app open or come back to it later, the fish ranking always reflects the current hour — no more seeing an old hour and pulling to refresh. • Performance and stability improvements.
