A more dependable built-in navigator. • The map is drawn on the device: in driving mode street names stay readable while the map turns, instead of turning with it. • The vehicle is an arrow showing where it points, kept low on the screen so more of the road ahead is visible. • Movement is continuous, without the jumps between GPS fixes. • Going off route is measured from the road itself, not from the corners of the drawn line, so there are no more warnings while driving straight along the right street. • When there is no route, the app says why: position far from any road, GPS not fixed yet, or a destination that cannot be reached by road. • The voice reads ordinals properly instead of spelling out abbreviations. Offline maps: downloading the maps along the route no longer stops halfway, and continues after the route is recalculated. Menu adapted to the tablet screen, with large centred icons. Diagnostics: shows whether the configuration came from the control room or is the last one saved on the device.
