• Fixed a crash that could happen when you opened the Hearing Test and then started amplifying. • If your earphones disconnect, amplifying stops and a card explains why — reconnect them and tap Resume. • When sound can't start, the app now says why and offers the fix, such as Open Settings for the microphone. • The Hearing Test now asks for earphones and checks playback before it records your answer. If it detects a playback problem, it asks you to tap Play again.

New: hearing checks are kept by date, so you can see how your results move over time. Differences smaller than 10 dB are shown as no change, because a check done with a phone and earbuds varies by a few dB on its own. The test now also tells you when it can't produce sound instead of running in silence. Thanks for the reviews and feedback!

Two new things and one honest correction. Replay the last 10 seconds. If a sentence goes past before you catch it, turning the volume up only helps with the next one. Now you can hear the one you missed — tap Replay and the last ten seconds play back. Nothing is recorded or saved; it lives in memory for a moment and is gone when you stop. Save your setups. The settings that make speech clear in a busy restaurant are not the ones that suit a quiet television at night. Save what you have as "TV" or "restaurant" and bring the whole thing back with one tap. Previously only balance and the volume limit were stored, so recalling a setup restored two of the six things you had set — everything is kept now. And the correction: the level meter and the LIMIT indicator were reading the microphone before your volume and safety limit were applied. The meter didn't move when you changed the volume, and the LIMIT light stayed off even while the limiter was working hard. Both now show what you are actually hearing. The app also refuses to start when sound would come out of the phone's own speaker, since that feeds straight back into the microphone, and it stops if your earphones come out mid-listen.

Alerts now arrive properly on Android instead of landing silently, and the app no longer interrupts you in the middle of what you came to do.
