Receipt and label scans used to come back empty on some photos — and taking the same shot again didn't help. That's fixed: pictures now reach the scanner at full readable quality, so the first try usually works. Small fixes and polish.

Adding your first food is now one photo. The empty fridge used to lead with "Scan a receipt" — which assumes you kept one. Now it leads with photographing the shelf: point the camera at what's actually in front of you and everything on it goes in at once. Receipt scanning is still there, just no longer first in line.

Dinner, decided for you at 5 pm. • A new notification at 5 pm suggests one dish to cook tonight, built around whatever in your fridge needs eating first. It arrives on the days you have opened the app — the suggestion is prepared while you are in it. • Scanning a receipt now separates what we are sure about from what we are not. Items whose expiry we could not work out are grouped at the top and marked, and the Add button waits until you have given them a date instead of adding them silently.

Turning Weekly Menu or the Medicine cabinet on and off now takes effect right away — no need to restart the app. Adding your first product is now one tap: the Add, Voice and Scan buttons on the Home screen open the right screen straight away. Meal cards in your Weekly Menu now have an "I made this" button to log what you cooked, plus a link to a YouTube video for the recipe.
