Turkey is live: see whether a port is free before you set off. Turkish is now one of the app's languages. Armenia is covered end to end: EVAN, Team Energy, iCharge, Amperion and EV Armenia, with Armenian as an app language. New network in Georgia - ZZZ, and City Hall's free chargers on the map. A new calculator for how long a charge takes and what it costs. A reworked profile, and live status you can trust more often.

Charging calculator Your profile now has a calculator that answers the two questions worth asking before you plug in: how long the stop will take, and what it will cost. Enter your battery capacity, the charger's power and the charge levels you care about, and both answers come from the same numbers. The time estimate follows a real charging curve rather than dividing kilowatt hours by kilowatts, so it does not pretend the last 20 percent goes in as fast as the first. Shortcuts for the power ratings you actually meet in Georgia are one tap away, and the screen remembers your car between visits. Also in this release - Your connector, minimum charger power and maximum range have moved to the top of the profile, where the settings that shape the map belong. - Email and phone number are now a single contact block. - Search suggestions in the route planner are quieter and quicker, and repeat searches are answered from memory. - Various wording fixes throughout the profile.

Expenses: see what charging is really costing you. • Charged at a paid charger? Tap the plus, choose "At a paid charger" and type the amount you paid in that provider's app. That is the whole entry. • Charged at home? Choose "At home" and type the battery percentage you started and finished at. GeoCharge works the cost out from your battery size, your electricity tariff and the energy lost while charging, which you fill in once. • The screen adds up this month and all time, splits home charging from paid charging, and shows the last six months side by side. • Every record keeps the date it happened on, and can be edited or deleted. • Records are stored on your phone and follow your account, so a new phone starts with your history already there. Expenses lives under Profile. Also in this release: routes shared out of Google Maps are read correctly again when the link comes in the older format.

tesla.geocharge.ge is now alive and connected to the app. Getting a route onto your Tesla screen no longer means typing it in twice. • Plan a trip in Google Maps, copy the link, and paste it in GeoCharge under Profile → Tesla. Your stops come with it, including whether you asked Google to avoid toll roads. • Any route you build in GeoCharge's own planner can be sent to the car with the button next to "Open in Google Maps". • Either way the route waits on the car screen until you are ready. You decide whether to drive it, keep it, or ignore it — nothing starts on its own. New on the car screen at tesla.geocharge.ge: • Save up to four places, such as home or work, as buttons you can tap once to start driving there. • Save the routes you drive often and start them again from the star menu. • Stopped halfway? The next time you open the app it offers to carry on from where you left off, skipping the stops you already passed. • A history of your last 20 trips, filled in by itself, so you can repeat any of them with one tap. • The traffic button no longer disappears once navigation starts, and the remaining time is now shown in hours and minutes with your arrival time.

New: find out about new chargers the day they open. • Turn on "New Chargers" in Settings and the app tells you when a provider opens a new station. Tap the alert and it takes you straight to that charger on the map. • The map background is back. A change at our map provider had left it blank for some drivers. • Charger status is now honest. For some Tegeta chargers the app was showing a live "free" or "busy" reading that the operator never actually sent. Those plugs now say the status is not published, rather than telling you something that might be wrong. • When a plug has no live status, you can tap to find out why. The app explains that the operator does not share live data for that charger, that we still know the charger is there, and why no price is shown for it either. • Two chargers that are no longer in service have been removed from the map. • Fixes on the subscription screen. Prices now load reliably, a plan that cannot be purchased in your country is no longer offered, and if something does go wrong the message explaining it is now readable instead of appearing as an empty bar.

Fixed minor issues. Changed • Country selection has moved to your profile. Tap the profile icon beside the search bar and you'll find it near the top, above your account details and alongside your other preferences. The gear icon that used to sit on the map is gone. Charger status now updates much faster. • Tap refresh and you get an answer in about a second. The app asks the operator directly, so you see what is happening right now. • The button now tells you what actually happened: updated, no change, or update failed. • An open charger card keeps itself up to date. • "Free again" alerts arrive sooner. • Georgia, Turkey and Armenia are now at the top of the country list. • Turkey and International appear once you pick those countries in Settings.

Turkey is here Georgians drive to Turkey often, so we rebuilt our Turkish coverage from scratch. What changed 13,296 chargers across Turkey, up from 2,110. The data comes from EPDK, Turkey's energy regulator, whose registry every publicly usable charger in the country is legally required to appear in. Private sites you cannot use are filtered out. Network names and prices. Every charger shows its network: ZES, Trugo, Eşarj, Voltrun and the rest. 68 percent also carry the operator's published tariff in lira, along with whose tariff it is and the date it was checked. Routes across the border. Tbilisi to Istanbul now plans end to end. There are 2,428 chargers within 8 km of that route, 1,518 of them fast DC. Turkish data loads by itself when a route crosses Turkey. Search opened up. The search box is no longer limited to Georgia, so you can find Istanbul Airport and set it as a destination. Fast chargers first. On a long route the planner now recommends DC chargers, and only falls back to AC when no DC is within reach. It could previously suggest an 11 kW socket, where a charge would take more than 8 hours. Much faster planning. Long routes no longer freeze the app while they compute. Honest status. The Turkish registry does not publish live occupancy, so those chargers are no longer drawn green as if they were free. They show how many plugs exist and say that live status is not published. Live status for Georgian chargers is unchanged. The provider filter is remembered. It used to live only for as long as the app was open, so every launch started from scratch. Your last selection is now saved and restored exactly as you left it. How to turn Turkey on Two steps. First Settings, countries, Turkey. Then the provider filter on the map, and tick Turkey there. Nothing is downloaded until you do both, so if you never go to Turkey, nothing is downloaded at all.

What's New in GeoCharge 1.1.37 Charger alerts are here! Tap "Notify me!" on any busy charger and we'll send you a push notification the moment it frees up — so you can grab it before anyone else. You can watch a specific connector type (CCS2, Type 2, GB/T…) and track up to 4 chargers at once. More places to charge. We've greatly expanded coverage across Europe, so you'll find far more stations on the map when you travel. Smarter route planning. Chargers at the same location are now grouped together, recommended stops are shown right along your route, and each provider now displays its logo for quicker recognition. Fixes & polish. Push notifications now works, plus various stability and performance improvements.
