Bible Langa is a Bible app created to help people in Malawi read, listen to and engage with the Word of God in different versions of Chichewa, Ellomwe, Yao, Tonga and English.
The app brings together Scripture text, Audio Bible resources, helpful reading and listening tools and ministry updates in one simple mobile experience. Whether you are at home, in church, at work, on the road or spending time in personal devotion, Bible Langa helps you keep God’s Word close and accessible every day.
With Bible Langa, you can:
• Read the Bible in Chichewa, Ellomwe, Tonga and Yao.
• Listen to the Audio Bible in Chichewa, Ellomwe, Tonga and Yao.
• Read and listen at the same time for deeper Scripture engagement
• Select books and chapters easily
• Use the built-in Bible study questions for daily meditation and group discussion on audio Scriptures.
• Search for words, verses and passages
• Highlight important verses
• Take notes for personal reflection
• Bookmark Scripture portions you want to return to
• Share verses with family, friends, church members and others
• Create and share verse images using available backgrounds
• Replay chapters for meditation, understanding and memorisation

Bible Langa also helps users stay connected with the work of the Bible Society of Malawi. Through the Newsfeed feature, users can receive news, announcements, activities and Scripture engagement updates directly within the app.
This app may be used for personal devotion, family Bible engagement, church activities, discipleship, teaching, outreach and community Scripture growth.
