Velastar is an immersive stargazing and sky exploration app for iPhone and iPad.
Using your observing location, date and time, and device orientation, Velastar calculates the sky above you in real time. Raise your device to identify stars, constellations, planets, the Sun, and the Moon—or travel across time and experience the sky from Earth, the Moon, Mars, and Europa.

EXPLORE SPACE AND TIME
Choose another city, landmark, address, or precise map location and preview its sky. Adjust the year, month, day, hour, and minute, or play the movement of the sky continuously. Earth’s sky can be visually explored from 999 BCE to 3000 CE.
Historical and far-future views are visual simulations for learning and exploration. They are not intended for precision research or navigation.
TRAVEL BEYOND EARTH
Explore an interactive 3D Solar System, inspect planets and moons, change simulation speed, and land on explorable worlds.

Light-pollution levels are estimates, not on-site SQM measurements. Always check weather, cloud cover, terrain, access conditions, and nighttime safety separately.

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account through the App Store when your purchase is confirmed.
Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You cannot cancel the current subscription period after it has begun. You can manage or cancel future renewals in your Apple ID account settings.
Any unused portion of a free trial will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
