Toastie: grilled cheese game

Toastie turns your iPhone into a toaster. Make a grilled cheese sandwich from scratch: butter the bread, lay on the cheese and fillings, and put it in the toaster. Close the lid and it starts toasting in real time. Open it too early and the cheese hasn't melted; leave it too long and it burns. Take it out at the right moment and you get a perfect toastie. HOW IT WORKS • Butter the bread with your finger: cover the slice, on the right side. • Drag the cheese and fillings onto the bread and spread them out. • Hurry: customers are waiting. You have 15 seconds to build each order. • Press GRILL, close the lid, and wait for the sizzle. • Open it to check, or trust your timing, then serve. • Every sandwich gets a score card: recipe, plating, toasting and prep time. Five stars turn it gold. • Four stars unlock the next recipe. 10 RECIPES From a Classic Grilled Cheese and Cheese & Tomato to Brie & Cranberry, Kimchi, Mushroom & Taleggio, Pesto, Tomato & Gruyère and The Works. White sandwich loaf, sourdough and brioche, 14 real ingredients, each with its own recipe card. MADE FOR IPHONE DUO Toastie plays on any iPhone and iPad. On iPhone Duo, the phone itself becomes the toaster: fold it shut to close the lid, and open it to see how your sandwich is doing. ALSO • Share your toastie to Instagram Stories or X. • Your progress syncs with iCloud across your devices. • Game Center leaderboard and achievements. • No ads, no tracking, no in-app purchases. Pay once. The world's most expensive toaster.

Happy Halloween! Three spooky new toasties are on the menu: Vampire's Bane, Monster Melt and Pumpkin Spell, with new ingredients, their own music and a new Game Center award. This version also brings bug fixes and minor improvements in gameplay. SPOILER ALERT: the much-requested freestyle mode and the app in more languages are coming very soon!
