Search now work correctly. • Fixed a crash on launch caused by invalid media metadata (NaN/Infinity values in bitrate, dimensions, or shutter speed). • Fixed a crash when resetting all data while a scan was still running in the background. Search • Search now indexes also file metadata (camera, lens, ISO, resolution, codec, artist, etc.), not just file name and path. • While typing, the top 5 suggestions are shown in a popover. • When focusing an empty search field, recent searches are shown for quick access. • Added support for more RAW and media formats for better type filtering. • Note: Terms like "camera:sony" are not special operators yet. Use plain terms such as sony, iso 400, h265, or canon eos for now. Search UI & Results • The search UI shows a preview indicating whether matching files exist. • Double-clicking a search result opens the file at its location on disk. UI • Added a subtle freespace indicator bar to each volume in the sidebar for a quick storage overview at a glance. • Scrollbars are now thinner for a cleaner look. • Redesigned the menu bar popover: volumes are now displayed in a compact grid (up to 3 columns) with donut chart, storage breakdown, and media category legend. • Notes are shown read-only in the popover (expandable if a note exists). • The popover now respects your Light/Dark mode setting from Settings. • The popover closes correctly when clicking outside or switching to another app. • Added last scan date next to the volume type badge (e.g. "External Scan: today"). Drive & Files • Notes are now integrated in the Drive Overview. • You can drag and drop items from OfflineFinder into other apps (e.g. into Locations or other programs). Performance & Stability • Fixed an FTS index mismatch that could trigger search/indexing errors on some databases. • Improved incremental scan memory usage on large volumes by avoiding full in-memory path snapshots. • Reduced background disk activity by batching internal file-change database updates. • Improved database write behavior with WAL mode and tuned SQLite sync/checkpoint settings. • Drive Overview now refreshes automatically after a scan completes (no restart needed). • Search suggestions popover now closes after pressing Enter.

Drive Overview A new full-screen overview lets you see all your volumes at a glance. Each drive is displayed as a card with a donut chart breaking down storage by media category like Photos, Videos, Audio and more Others. Improved Volume Views Single volume views have been refined for better accuracy and more consistent behavior across Column, List, and Grid layouts. Offline Storage Info Volumes that are currently offline now display their last known free space and total capacity, so you always have a sense of how much room is left — even when the drive isn't connected. Performance Media stats are pre-cached in the background for faster load times. Various under-the-hood optimizations improve responsiveness throughout the app.
