# 0.96.94 The Continuum bot now works where your team already talks. Mention it in a Slack or WhatsApp thread and it answers there, on its own computer, with approvals you grant from the thread. The command line got the same treatment, and sessions finally follow your account across every device you own. This is the first public release since 0.96.86 and rolls up everything from 0.96.87 through 0.96.93. ## Channel bots - Mention the bot in a bound Slack channel and the thread becomes a bot turn, with its own computer, screenshots, an Open computer link and handoffs back to the app. (#2000, #2003, #2013) - The same bot answers on WhatsApp. Approve an action by replying with its number, and the thread stays live for the 24-hour session window. (#2009) - Bind a channel to a bot from the Bots tab on Mac, iPhone, web and Expo. Connected apps show which channels each bot answers in. (#2008) - Approve or decline what the bot wants to do from inside the thread, and take a run over from the bot without leaving the channel. (#2012) - Connected apps get their own channels: per-client Slack install links, WhatsApp binding, channel webhook events, and usage attributed to the right client. Streaming is coalesced onto a frame budget, markdown renders as it arrives, and the transcript holds your scroll position while output streams in. (#2020) - Typing stays responsive while a reply streams: keystrokes echo in about nine milliseconds at the 95th percentile. (#2024) - Install the agent from any host with a one-line script served straight from the site. Bots now live in one list, with a compose menu and folders to keep them organised. Widgets were redesigned to match the app: pick an account on the small widget, see two side by side on the medium one, all of them on the large one. Session setup floats as a widget instead of taking over the screen, and the bot computer moved its actions onto the roster row. Fixes: signing in from a fresh app start works again, your provider accounts follow your identity instead of the device, the Usage tab no longer shows an empty gauge when signed out, and the Bot tab appears right after you sign in.

Device sync fixes. • iPhone connects to your computers again. Adding an Android device to your account made iPhone builds treat that phone as a computer to connect to, so they stopped reaching your Mac. iPhone now understands Android devices, never auto-connects to another phone, and a single bad device row can no longer blank the whole device list. • Android connects to your Mac. The Android app's relay encryption now runs on Android's JavaScript engine (it previously required WebAssembly), and a secure random source is installed before any encryption runs. • Mac account sync stops failing every minute. Custom providers are uploaded in the right order, tokens are only rotated when they actually changed, and revoked or rejected accounts stop retrying, so accounts delivered from other devices now install on the Mac. • Windows and Linux desktops enrol into your account automatically and heal a missing enrollment on their own, so accounts you connect there show up everywhere. • First-run consent screen now says where your content really goes (the computer you connected the provider on, or Continuum Cloud when it's offline) and lists every supported provider. • Cloud: Grok can be connected with a device code from any device; custom providers install on Cloud runners from the delivered material. Host reliability fixes. • The Mac host no longer dies silently. Continuum on the Mac exited with SIGPIPE five times in one day (launchd: "exited due to SIGPIPE") — a write to a child process or connection that had already gone away took the whole host down, every relay socket dropped, and the phone showed "Couldn't connect to that device" until someone relaunched the app. The process now ignores SIGPIPE, every child/PTY/network writer handles EPIPE and tears down only its own session, and unexpected terminations leave a breadcrumb in the host log. • Dead sessions with a resumable handle no longer show as streaming. The 0.96.17 reconcile skipped sessions that still had a resumable provider id; 61 such sessions stayed "running" on one Mac. Ownership now means a live process only; the resume id is preserved so the conversation can be revived, and the cloud mirror is republished. • Continuum Cloud picks up a repo's GitHub remote automatically. Choosing a repo that lives on your Mac and switching to Cloud no longer fails with "Continuum Cloud needs a Git repository URL": hosts publish each repo's origin and default branch, and the phone/web resolve it for you. Errors now name the repo or the missing GitHub App install.
