FitHalo

All activity in a single score

Free

FitHalo combines all of your workout activity into a single weekly score. You set your weekly goal. Use your FitHalo score to track your own progress or compete in fitness challenges with friends. Workout activities earn you points. Log workouts with FitHalo or any other fitness apps, smart watches, or pieces of exercise equipment that log data to Apple Health will accumulate points. Performing a variety of workout types will earn you extra points. Consider including strength, cardio, and flexibility activities in your routine. Consistency and intensity also earn you bonus points. Performing workouts daily and performing workouts that elevate your heart rate will grant additional points. Always make sure your workouts are safe and comfortable. Consult with healthcare professionals before beginning any new exercise routine. **About FitHalo** FitHalo was born when a group of friends wanted to engage in a friendly, encouraging fitness challenge but found it difficult to compare exercise routines. The group of friends collaboratively came up with a unified scoring system that considered activity, intensity of workouts, and day-to-day consistency of exercise. FitHalo is a hobby project and labor of love. It's totally free and collects zero data about you. Your health and workout information stays on your devices and, your progress is only shared with friends when you choose to share it.

Another minor update with a focus on refinement, polish, and stability! New in 1.9.6: • New interactive map view on iOS: tap the map in your workout details to get an interactive map to pan, zoom, tilt, and toggle satellite imagery around your workout route. • Added ability to manually star/unstar workout types - starred workouts show up first in your workouts list. • Added tick marks for the current challenge score to show if your activity level is tracking with the day of the week. • Workout route maps now show dotted lines where GPS accuracy was low, or time between samples was too long (usually indicating a workout pause). • Adjusted GPS accuracy thresholds to alleviate some issues where GPS signal is weak. • Reduced the maximum history to 5 years to avoid rejected queries from Apple Health. • Fixed GPS route points being dropped from recording when accuracy is low. • Fixed distance values decreasing in some cases where GPS was unavailable and the workouts fell back to using the pedometer. • Fixed errors in the weight measurement averages that could occur when there are no recent measurements.
