I relaunched the app & activated background refresh to no avail
Useless
Wael Allam
The widget is completely useless, you have to open the app to get the current values bacause it is not refreshing at all.
Developer Response
Theoretically the app and widget will refresh one time every 15~30 minutes according to the limitation of iOS, Apple won’t allow a higher refresh rate. If you found your widget or app refresh far less frequently than that, there are a few things you could check:1. Whether the low battery mode is on. The app and widgets won’t refresh in background when it’s on.2. Whether Background App Refresh is enabled, for WLAN & Cellular3. Make sure you are not force killing AllMyBatteries (i.e. don’t remove it from App Switcher screen)4. Whether the main app is working when in foreground, if it doesn’t update the battery level, so doesn’t the widget.Additionally, there are more details in the FAQ section in the app, I got some articles about “Why something isn’t up to date” there.
- Device icon updates
