I am writing to formally express my strong objection and deep dissatisfaction regarding the unfair handling of my booking and the refusal to issue a refund, either full or partial, despite the circumstances being entirely beyond my control.Up to this moment, I am still not convinced by your explanation. What I clearly see is manipulation and unreasonable behavior from the host, who acted with clear rigidity and lack of cooperation. I complied in good faith, showed flexibility, and offered solutions, yet the host continued to be uncooperative, and I am now being penalized for an issue I did not create.It is extremely disappointing that, as a major platform that claims to protect customers’ rights, you are allowing such behavior without providing any fair resolution. Refusing any refund under these circumstances cannot be considered just or acceptable by any reasonable standard.This experience has caused me significant frustration and loss of trust. Unfortunately, if this matter is not handled fairly, this will be my last time dealing with your platform. I expected professionalism, transparency, and customer protection — none of which I feel I have received in this case.I strongly request an immediate review of this situation and a fair refund decision that reflects the reality of what occurred

A few days ago, I stayed with my family at an apartment’s host through Airbnb. The day we were supposed to check-in, the host refused to let us check in simply because it was too late at night, even though, the host mentioned before then that it was flexible check in. As a result, my family had to stay on the sidewalk having nowhere to go. Thankfully, there was a hotel nearby, where we had to pay for the night until we check in the day after. We filed a complaint on the host through Airbnb, for that the host should refund us the night he didn’t let us check in and to reimburse us for the hotel we paid for. Surprisingly, Airbnb customer support reject our complaint and mentioned that the host refused to refund us that night. The fact that Airbnb stood up with the host, who found it an opportunity to harass us and keep sending threatening messages that he would call the police and kick us out of the apartment, even though we didn’t do or say anything to him, but he was confident that Airbnb would be on his side. Unfortunately, Airbnb was a disappointment and my whole trip was ruined as we were stressed all the time because of the host and knowing that Airbnb wasn’t in our side.

I had and issue as my host cancelled my booking after 2 months from doing the reservation and after the cancellation grace period is over. They gave me less 110$ compensation “rebooking credit”, and due to shortage notice i have to pay more than 1,065 to cover the increase in rent rate. The rebooking credit was valid for 3 days only, i did a complain, they started negotiating with me and taking a long time to check and each support member escalate the issue to another member, after 4 days they replied to me as “ I understand that you're asking for more compensation. However, like what I mentioned. The assistance or compensation we can provide is through the form of the coupon. In your case, you already used the coupon and because of that, the option to make a change to that is no longer available. You also booked without letting us know about the price. There's a limit on what we can cover. I hope you understand that as much as I want to help you, I can't due to the coupon is already used. Thank you.“so at the end they are blaming me for not informing them, and of course during the time they are negotiating rent price is getting high and they expiry date is of their rebooking credit is also over. so they “expert” didn’t inform to wait or not to book and they can extend the validity of voucher .
