SonicPrint is an application for vocal trainings.
The vocal training is performed based on the analysis and display of the resonance frequencies of vowels, so called Formant, which is carried out in the two-dimensional frequency space defined by the first formant (F1) and the second formant (F2).
At the beginning of the training, the most common vowels for Japanese (a, i, u, e, o) would be drawn in oval shapes on the screen.
Over the time during vocalization, the point's location on the screen will be plotted dynamically based on the changes of frequency.
It is a very handy tool for vocal trainings.
