Ludo goes by many names worldwide, such as Le Jeu de Dada, Griniaris, Petits Chevaux, and Uckers. Even misspellings like Lido, Lado, Loodo, or Free Ludoo show how universally loved this game is!
Ludo Rules:
- Each player starts with four tokens of the same color in their "home" area.
- The goal is to move all tokens to the "finish" (center of the board).
- Roll a 6 to move a token out of the home area.
- Move tokens based on the dice roll.
- Land on an opponent’s token to send it back to their home.
- Safe spaces protect tokens from being captured.
- Rolling a 6 earns an extra turn.
- Enter the finish area with an exact dice roll.
- The first player to move all tokens to the finish wins!
