Wenxing - I Ching & Tarot
Solar Terms, Bazi & Ziwei
SAR 4.99 · In-App Purchases · Designed for iPad
The 24 Solar Terms
Wenxing calculates when each solar term begins. It presents the related astronomy, climate, customs, farming knowledge, and 72 pentads. Each solar term also includes classical poetry, source notes, and commentary.
Themes and Display
Choose from static and animated themes based on the solar terms and traditional colors. Live Solar Term follows the current solar term and changes the theme automatically when the next term begins.
Chart Tools
Use Bazi, I Ching, Ziwei, and Tarot tools. Save birth profiles, create a chart from the current time, and choose from the available casting methods.
Widgets
View the current solar term, pentad, lunar date, countdown, traditional hour, and wellness information on the Home Screen or Lock Screen. Multiple widget styles are available on iPhone and iPad.
Apple Watch
View solar-term and traditional-hour information on the watch face or in the Watch app. Bazi, I Ching, Ziwei, and Tarot tools are also available on Apple Watch.
Notifications
Receive notifications for solar-term transitions, daily nature notes, and limited-time festival themes. A Live Activity can show the countdown before a solar-term transition.
Sharing
Create a solar-term card, choose its style and appearance, then save or share it.
Languages
Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Lithuanian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Spanish, Thai, Turkish, and Ukrainian — 19 languages.

Wenxing 2.2 brings our most complete Apple Watch update yet. Bazi, Liu Yao, Ziwei, and Tarot are now available on your wrist, redesigned for quick glances, the Digital Crown, and one-handed use.
This update includes the following new features and improvements:
- Apple Watch now includes five Home screens: Solar Terms, Bazi, Liu Yao, Ziwei, and Tarot. Open any Ziwei palace for details, or use the Digital Crown to rotate the Tarot fan and draw and place cards directly.
- Settings and Privacy Mode are now available on Apple Watch, allowing you to hide birth dates in charts and profiles.
- The new Sidebar interface provides faster access to your tools. It appears as a drawer on iPhone and as an adjustable, collapsible sidebar on iPad and other large displays.
- Lunar calendar display now uses localised sexagenary year names, along with more concise month and day labels. The lunar date picker has also been redesigned.
- Picking up, placing, and returning cards on the Tarot table now feels more natural, with more precise touch response when rotating the fan.
- Slow ambient themes now use less power. In Low Power Mode, animations continue at a reduced frame rate.
- This update also includes improvements to Liu Yao screens and the profile list, along with bug fixes.

- Home has a new look, with a poster for today's solar term. Tap anywhere to see more, then tap again to return
- Solar Term Countdown is now available as a Live Activity. During the hour before the next solar term, see the countdown, term name, and lunar and Gregorian dates on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island
- Tarot has been rebuilt for more natural interactions. Draw and arrange multiple cards at once, with realistic movement and collisions as they land on the table
- Ink Jade and Obsidian now respond as you tilt your device. More modern themes have new animations, too
- The theme library is easier to use. Live Solar Term and Current Theme are now available from floating controls at the bottom. You can preview every animation, even before unlocking a theme

2.0.1 11 Jul
Wenxing 2.0 brings a whole new way to feel the seasons.
We've redesigned the theme gallery around large, swipeable cards. Swipe to preview each animation, tap to apply a theme, and use the controls up top to turn on Auto Theme or jump to the one you're using right now.
The themes themselves got a big update. Every Five Elements theme now moves, and a whole set of nature themes joins the collection — Star River, Sunset, Danxia, Bamboo, Snow Night, Coral, and Glacier. Several solar-term themes have been rebuilt, and Palace Wall, Ink Wash, and Halloween all show new detail.
The app's home screen adds a Tools area. Bazi, Liu Yao, Ziwei, and Tarot now live in one place — pull down or long-press to open — each with a new hand-drawn line icon.
Widgets can now wear custom themes. And you can long-press the app icon to jump straight to the tools you use most.
This update also brings back the BaZi Taiji standby animation, adds a Shichen reminder (off by default), and reorganizes Settings, the User Guide, and Help. Frame Mode haptics, interface details, and overall stability have been polished further, too.
