MockCode is a professional CPR simulation facilitation tool designed for ICU educators, simulation coordinators, and resuscitation training teams. Built around published resuscitation guidelines, MockCode captures real-time CPR quality metrics during mock code exercises and delivers a comprehensive clinical scorecard for structured debriefs.
DESIGNED FOR THE SIMULATION ROOM
MockCode puts the facilitator in control. One thumb on the compression button, one eye on the team. The interface is engineered for clinical environments — static layout, thumb-optimized button placement, and zero cognitive load during live scenarios.
REAL-TIME CPR QUALITY METRICS
• Chest Compression Fraction (CCF) — live with colour-coded targets
• Compression rate — 15-second rolling window
• Total pause time and CPR active time
• Timeline visualisation of compressions vs pauses
CLINICAL EVENT LOGGING — ONE TAP EACH
• Leader Assignment and CPR Coach role
• Shock / Defibrillation with automatic pre-shock pause calculation
• Epinephrine with 3-5 minute interval alerts
• Pulse and Rhythm checks with cycle interval tracking
• Compressor switch with 2-minute rotation reminders
• H&T (reversible causes) tracking
• Amiodarone / Lidocaine logging
GUIDELINE-ALIGNED CLINICAL SCORECARD
MockCode analyses every session against published resuscitation guidelines and generates a structured scorecard with Critical, Caution, and Met flags for VF/pVT and PEA/Asystole scenarios.
POST-ROSC CARE CHECKLIST
When ROSC is achieved, MockCode transitions to a comprehensive post-arrest care checklist — each item timestamped when completed.
COMPLETE SESSION REPORT
Export a full session report including the clinical scorecard, all metrics, event timeline, shock analysis, and post-arrest checklist.
WORKS COMPLETELY OFFLINE
No internet required. No external databases. No servers. Everything runs on your device.
PRIVACY FIRST
MockCode collects no personal data, transmits nothing externally, and stores only anonymous session summaries locally on your device.
DISCLAIMER
MockCode is a simulation facilitation tool for educational purposes only. It is not a medical device. All clinical decisions remain the sole responsibility of the qualified facilitator. Not for use with real patients.
AFTER-ACTION REPORT
A new closing step for every drill, built for quality review and sign-off:
• CPR quality measured against published resuscitation benchmarks — compression fraction, hands-off time, peri-shock pause, time to first compression, defibrillation and epinephrine, and compressor rotation, each marked Met, Partial or Not met
• Identified gaps now drawn from your actual session — the clinical scorecard, technical score and team ratings, each citing the real measured value
• Latent safety threat capture — record equipment, medication, communication, role, environment or documentation issues surfaced by the drill
• Action items with owner and due date
• Evaluator sign-off
TWO REPORT FORMATS
Every session now produces a full teaching report and a concise Quality Review summary. Switch between them when viewing a saved session, and choose either — or both — when exporting.
PEDIATRIC TECHNICAL ASSESSMENT
A dedicated pediatric item set scored 0 / 1 / 2, replacing the adapted adult checklist. Universal actions plus a shockable or non-shockable pathway, with the denominator adjusting to the case.
SCORING REFINEMENTS
• CPR Coach and compressor rotation now reflect timing and cadence, not just whether they happened
• PASS / FAIL replaced with Met / Not met
• Provenance labels throughout the report show whether each value was measured by the app or confirmed by the facilitator
FIXES
• Pediatric protocol now applies correctly in the technical score — previously adult labels and doses could appear in a pediatric case
• Saved reports now include the full assessment; previously they stopped at the facilitator observation
• Assessment data no longer carries over between sessions
• CPR status is clearly visible inside the Hs and Ts and Team overlays, and the control no longer sits against the bottom edge
MockCode remains completely offline, collects no data, and is for simulation and educational use only.
